First Poster!
-
Here's two that I recently got Wall-Mounted Frames for Recently! Been sitting in my Closet for years! They measure approx. 45 x 59.5 inches.
-
Measuring in at approx. 6ft by 4ft is the D/S beast of my collection!
-
There you go---GOOD start! Are those middle two quads or half sheets?
Keep it up. We wanna see more.
So glad you've decided to share with us.
CHEERS!
-
Thanks! I believe they are Subway/Two Sheet
-
Yes, based on the size you indicated, subway and bus.
It's always fun to see someone's collection. Keep 'em coming.

Nice, framed pieces, Aaron. And 'big boys' to boot.
Looking good!!
-
Thanks!
Here are my two latest pickups I got of ebay. Both are SS 27x40's
-
Nice posters. Do you prefer the larger format poster?
I have a 60x40 currently framed and love it although in the space I could get x4 one sheets easily.

Thanks! Love them both but If space, and such had no limit would definitely go bigger more often. Would still collect different sizes to add variance.
-
Keep it up with the pictures, love to see more.
I mainly have quads and one sheets but do have a few other sizes. Storage is more of a problem with the larger types, more so if rolled.
-
While not in the greatest shape,( evidently somebody had taped it or used an adhesive a few times as parts are torn thin from where they put it) still glad to have this one in my collection. Measures 6 feet by 25" 5/8
-
Approx 27x40 D/S Little roughed up but glad to have!
-
My only 3 SS 24x36's
-
Nice trio there, Aaron. :)
You mentioned they are 24x36. Just curious. Is there a reason you chose to get them in this commercial, (under) size rather than the theatrical, 27x40 one sheet size?

Thanks! Always will buy 27x40 instead of 24x36, but the previous owners were gonna toss 'em, so I got them for free.

Thanks! Get the 27x40's from Walmart, they run bout $20-$23 a piece. Just gotta be careful cause the corners have come broken a few times, forcing me to check before I leave the lot.
Huge wall-mounted frames (for Two Sheets Etc) I got from http://www.fastchangeframes.com/.

Do the frames come with backing boards (are they like an acid free foam core) or are they more like a standard, cardboard backing?
And when you say some of the frame corners have come broken, do you mean some of them are not firmly connected together or have gaps? (that kind of thing?)

Standard Cardboard backing. When they come broken they're just straight cracked and split apart at the corner. Maybe the unloaders at my location are a little rough with them.

Not sure, but I don't imagine it's too expensive being from the 1997 special edition.

When were "half subway" sized posters first introduced? I was trying to find some info and couldn't find anything.

Dunno know, but here's where I got the info:
https://www.cinemasterpieces.com/cineamericanstyles.htm
I remember many years ago when I bought it, the seller stated it was from a New York Subway.
Just looked on ebay just now and there's bout 15 I found from 89'-93'(by searching: 30x45 subway movie poster). If I find more info I will share.
-
Thanks! ;)

Just purchased this D/S 10' by 3' vinyl banner off ebay, though I have no clue where I'm gonna hang this bad boy, cause it's just too darn huge! Cannot wait till it arrives!

Just picked up another Subway/Bus poster! 45x60

I had never heard of half sized subway posters either...
Was the space designed to be shared with another film poster, be it another version from the same film or another film from the same distributor perhaps?

No idea. Have found the size referenced on some sites, seen some posters for sale on ebay, but haven't found much info on the type at all.

With this banner being 3 x 10 FEET, it has to make for quite the display! And cool to be able to flip it over to change the scenery a bit if you wanted to. thumbsup.gif

So how did this look, when you finally got it? Were you a happy camper?
