Just saw this on Impawards.com.
A brand-new quad by Humphreys, the artist behind those cool EVIL DEAD and ELM STREET quads.
If any of you chaps across the pond find one, please (PLEASE) PM or email me.

That's got a nice retro feel

I've never seen that one Ted, the two Quads I know of are different. Are you sure it's part of the promotional campaign....

Not sure how it is being used yet.
In addition to the Impawards spot, there is reference to it at the Famous Monsters web site here:

and here: http://www.horror-movies.ca/2012/01/vintage-hammer-poster-for-the-woman-in-black/ (http://www.horror-movies.ca/2012/01/vintage-hammer-poster-for-the-woman-in-black/)
They both say very little about how it is being used.
I haven't been able to find anything on it at either Humphrey's site or Hammer's yet. mesmrized

As far as I can make out, it's not part of the official Publicity campaign. Things are very sketchy at the moment on it...
-
This really pisses me off. I've been scouring the net for some sort of info....and nothing.
I have a feeling that this poster by Humphreys will be like Struzan's PAN or Boris' RUBBER -- not distributed.
Marketing executives = chowderheads.

From What I can tell Ted, it's been done as a "what if", and a bit of a homage to Chantrell....
-
The first I heard anything about this poster was through the following article at the 'Den of Geek' website;
http://www.denofgeek.com/movies/1202768/exclusive_official_oldstyle_hammer_poster_for_the_woman_in_black.html
It does not really offer any concrete information but they do claim that it has been "officially produced" and I wonder if we might see it at the London premiere.
-
Slowly but surely we might get to crack this one...
Personally i think Daniel dominates the image too much..this poster just does n`t portray any sense of horror..or suspense..

I found it on Graham's website here... click on Daniel R's face at the top.

Probably old news now!

That site only has it as a print, but I think it's the only way to get a copy, but I wanted the full size Quad which just isn't going to happen... :'( So I'll leave it. Prints are not Cinema posters.
-
But of a thread bump...I had this on my saved searches in case one came up cheap that I could snag for Ted and... one came up! Didn't go cheap though!

Graham Humphreys doesn't go cheap. Ouch....
cheers

Nope it sure didn't. 376 usd. I was bidding but gave up after $260. The last minute it really started climbing.

I had an email exchange with GH when this first came out. He showed me his original concept artwork which not unusually differed from the final version. I subsequently managed to get one of the few full-size quads that were printed from Hammer.

Wish you'd give me the nod Tob, I'd have given them a run for their money..
I must start looking again, as with not buying anything over the last few months, I've not looked either.

Ah, sorry Paul, didn't know you were after one. If I spot another down the line, I'll PM you

You can actually buy these direct from the Hammer site at various sizes and prices including a quad (for £50) but it appears they are printed to order as per a video link on the site which describes the order/print process. Here is the link to the poster;

I'm still not sure if any of the ones that have appeared are genuinely legit in terms of being specifically produced for a cinema run or have just been acquired from the above link but there appears to be little to distinguish between the two if anything at all.
Paul.

The 30 x 40 full-size quad is not available however.
