I've found a few modern South Korean "posters" (8x11") that I'd like to pick up because of the different artwork to a few films that I collect paper for, but I'm having a hard time finding much information about South Korean posters online at all.
I'm looking for common sizes, history, pricing etc. Google wasn't much help, and Bruce doesn't seem to have sold any as I couldn't find a S.K. filter. In the end, I'm trying to find out if these are the real deal, or reprints.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hey Chris,
I found this site that seems to have an interesting selection of S Korean posters available:

We've only sold 72 South Korean posters, many of them multiples of the same titles. See them here:

Hey thanks Bruce and Jeff. I appreciate the help.
I guess this might help my cause a bit.... here is a link to one of the 'posters' I am looking at: http://www.ebay.com/itm/272012734039?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT (http://www.ebay.com/itm/272012734039?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT)
They very much remind me of Chirashi, but are approx. 1" wider at 8x11" opposed to the Japanese 7x10". I can't find a reference to this sized Korean paper anywhere. The listing says they are "official," but we all no that official seams to be a relative term these days.

I wonder.. could these also be more be considered 'flyers' like the chirashi are often referred to as?
-
Very possible, Jeff. I'll search a little more with that in mind.
I'd like a few of them, because they have artwork that I've never seen before, but at ten bucks a shot, just trying to find out as much as I can.

A4 size is 210 x 297 mm or 8.3 x 11.7 inches
standard paper size (outside US)
I would call it an A4 Flyer.
We have them in Australia.
Ill ask my daughter, (she lived in SK) if she saw them at cinemas.

Ari, big thanks!
Definitely let me know what your daughter says about how the South Koreans use them.

Chris, if you look and search under "Ads and Flyers" in the Entertainment/Movie memorabilia section on ebay (rather than looking in the Poster section), you will find a lot more listed. I looked to today at lunch and saw many that were 5.99-7.99 USD (as well as those listed at 10 bucks a piece).

Thanks again Ari and Jeff... appreciate the help!

If anyone has (or knows where there is) an original SK poster for Yongary, there is a ready and able buyer right here. :)
