Title: morphine posters
Post by: morphine on December 17, 2009, 08:29:24 PM
My only two music posters, from my namesake.
The first one means a lot to me because I saw them the next night in Toronto.

I don't know anything about the Alamo posters that everyone raves about, but it seems to me that the designs on the Alamo posters really take after some of the awesome designs on posters like these.  I literally have to keep from browsing music posters too much because I could so easily start collecting them.  The art is just awesome.  These are great examples.

I think cause they are generally done by the gig poster artists Holiday, that they look alike.

Thanks for the comments folks!

I really had to try hard to avoid starting a music poster collection. There are some really, really nice ones out there, and I would have been in the poor house trying to collect them in addition to movie posters. So I stayed with just these two.

I agree Jason, the art on these is often hard to resist.
