I am looking for a one sheet or even other versions of this poster. The film is called Nekromantik. If you have one and are willing to part with it shoot me a price and I will get back to you.
-
I am also looking for a Nekromantik 2 as well.
-
You are one twisted puppy.
Wait in line...

Those are the ones that I am looking for lol. They are twisted but hell I like them lol.
-
a small note, there are 3 versions of Nekromantik.
The one Dale has here (that was once mine) is from the 2nd run.
The VERY first poster has the same art, minus the John Waters quote.
Then later they released again - same art but with Japanese characters also and photo inserts.
The VERY FIRST poster is extremely Rare, I think Jorge said he made 500 (?) and plastered them all over the city.
Not bothering to keep many aside, he didn't realise what a cult film it would become.
All versions of the poster are becoming harder and harder to get. I wish I kept mine now, but oh well.
As far as the movies go, I prefer part 2, I like them both but part 2 has an ending I love.
Once I screened Nekromantik at a work Xmas party, everyone left the room, except this one rich Sales agent (real estate), who was mesmerised by it, and wouldn't stop talking to me about it afterwards, he usually never gave me much time as he was a multi millionaire and I was a poor loser. ;)

Here in the states these movies are extremely hard to find and when you do find them people want an arm and a leg for them.
-
the posters? or the movies?
I have a poster for another of his films, DER TODESKIN, nice poster.
Oh also one he was involved with JOURNEY INTO BISS.
which is a very interesting film.
-
The movies are extremely hard to find here. I have seen the Der Todeskin poster and it is pretty cool but really not my cup of tea lol. I little weird to me. I think the kid on that poster weighs more then the guy LMAO
-
The posters are not that easy to find here either lol. With the movie I actually had to watch it in sections on youtube lol.
-
oh I guess because in America all region DVD players are not so common. The DVD shouldn't be hard to get but with european or japanese region protection.
-
I bought part one and two online and the guy said they were region free and come to find out they weren't so I contacted the guy and he gave me my money back and told me to just keep them lol. I sold part one if I remember right so I still have part two sitting around somewhere collecting dust lol.
-
Just about every player in Australia is region free off the shelf, but anyways they are usually pretty darn easy to crack regardless. A few pushes of the remote. if you somewhat enjoyed at least part 1, do check out part 2, its quite different, and very good.

i am no means braggin or flaunting what i got, but i finally got 2 copies, one with the quote and another one rolled, shoulda picked up part 2, anyway i was offered 400.00 cash for one and at time i said no, somtimes when cash is low, i regret but, hey they can only go up right????? I wish you the best luck man.. the image is killer
-
dont think about selling the one without text for $400,
Part 2 is still "easy" to get.
Not easy like Dark Knight easy, but compared to 1st release part one.
-
Even in Germany the first release posters are incredibly hard to find.

Bruce sold the RR for 37$ in 2009 (http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/search/nekromantik/archive.html).
Can't remember ever seeing a first release for sale.

I am usually cheap, but for my money I'd ask $200 for RR. For 1st issue, I think I would guess at a price I'd be happy with double it and add 25% for good luck and then not sell it.

I have one here. As far as I recall I got (traded) it from Buttgereit at the time the film came out. I was doing some poster business at the time, living in Munich, and he sometimes visited the movie memorabilia film fairs.
Maybe I'd sell it, have to check the market first. Another colleague asked me for that first release 1sh this spring ...

i was told that is one of the most sought out horror flick posters
-
haha WELL that would be depending who you ask, Id wager a guess Universal Horror fans might bite you in the neck for saying that. But certainly for fans of Modern NON MAINSTREAM Horror that would be true.
-
well, ari i was asking a bunch of horro fans on a certain FB page, lol
-
haha yeah, I know. Try the question on Classic Horror Film Board and see the difference.
I'd sure like to get one again.

They have a copy of one of the styles at The Cinema Store in London. Not sure which version exactly and likely to be expensive but I remember seeing it a few weeks ago...
