Movie Posters - Latest Acquisitions / May 2024
« Last post by Neo on May 03, 2024, 02:09:35 PM »
This one just arrived from the middle east.  One of my favorite movies.  This style captures the essence of the movie much better than the more common styles IMO.

eMoviePoster.com has three great current sets of auctions  (containing 3,364 auctions in all!) that close NEXT Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday (May 7th, 9th, and 12th, in our "every four week auctions).

These auctions contain so many varied items that at least some of them are likely to be of great interest to virtually EVERY collector! What's in these three sets of auctions?

Our current Tuesday auctions ending May 7th at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/13.html contain 1,612 flat items of all kinds (including 56 "oversized" ones, and 154 "signed" ones) much more it will take you hours just to make a quick run through it all!

Our current Thursday auctions ending May 9th at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/14.html contain 1,000 rolled posters (U.S., non-U.S., and NON-movie posters, including 62 signed ones!).

This has a fabulous selection of posters of every kind, spread pretty evenly from the 1950s to the present, with SEVENTY TWO rare ones from before 1950!

If you are looking for a great poster (U.S. or non-U.S., movie or non-movie!) to display on your wall, you are almost certain to find many candidates here!

Our current Sunday auctions ending May 12th at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/15.html contain 752 solely rolled bulk lots containing 15,104 posters in all! We have made a significant change with this set of bulk lot auctions!

We REALLY want to get ALL our remaining old sub-$30 consignments sold. so this time we assembled a high percentage of the rolled posters left here, and we are SOLELY auctioning rolled posters!

The next bulk lot auction will solely contain tons of folded posters, lobby cards and stills. What's up with all this bulk lot selling? Ironically, it is because we are working towards completely ending auctioning sub-$30 items!

WE WILL AUCTION ALL REMAINING CONSIGNED SUB-$30 ITEMS HERE, AND WE ARE ALREADY NO LONGER ACCEPTING ANY MORE SUB-$30 CONSIGNMENTS (sub-$50, if in lesser condition).

So if you like these bulk lot auctions, please take advantage of these last ones, because soon they will occur far less often, and with a fraction of the quantities. Buying from these bulk lot auctions is like walking into a store and everything is 90% off!

Or (for the next 4 full days, until the Tuesday auctions close on the 7th) view ALL the 3,364 current auctions in a single gallery at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/all.html especially valuable if you want to search ALL of the 3,364 auctions at once!

It is virtually a certainty that no matter what you collect you will find items of interest in this massive supermarket selection, and not only that, but we add a similar selection every four weeks!

And you can wait an unheard of SIXTEEN full weeks to have your purchases shipped, which saves you a fortune on combined shipping (as long as you pay for each set of purchases after two weeks).

I could easily write a great deal more about how many excellent items there are in all three sets of auctions and how low the current bid prices are, but I would much rather you simply see for yourself at the above links!

Not yet registered? Go to https://auctions.emovieposter.com/Registration.taf to sign up (we qualify our bidders, something few auctions do, so you always bid against real bidders who honor their bids).

And if YOU are somehow not interested in any of these items, but have friends who would be (because they collect items like these or would find just one of interest) then do us (and them!) a favor by helping spread the word to them before these close!

You say you wish you had been collecting decades ago when you could buy movie posters for a few dollars each?

Well, you don't need a time machine to do this, because eMoviePoster.com's 752 solely rolled bulk lots containing 15,104 posters ending Sunday, May 12th at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/15.html HAS all sorts of posters at INSANELY low current bid prices!

We have pictured an image of the "Who'll Stop the Rain" one-sheet below. It is in a lot of TWENTY FIVE examples of this poster at https://auctions.emovieposter.com/Bidding.taf?_function=detail&Auction_uid1=6749207 and the winning bidder gets ALL 25 of them, and they are currently at just $11, less than 50 cents per poster!

We have made a significant change with this set of bulk lot auctions! We REALLY want to get ALL our remaining old sub-$30 consignments sold. so this time we assembled a high percentage of the rolled posters left here, and we are SOLELY auctioning rolled posters (and the next bulk lot auction will solely contain folded posters, lobby cards and stills).

NOTE THAT AS WE GREATLY REDUCE THE NUMBER OF BULK LOT CONSIGNMENTS LEFT HERE (and take NO new bulk lot consignments) WE WILL BE REDUCING THE NUMBER OF BULK LOT AUCTIONS WE HOLD!

For example, the next bulk lot auction after this one won't be until August. So if you like these auctions, make the most of them while they last, because soon there won't be any more of them!

This bulk lot auction contains FOUR HUNDRED SIXTY lots of rolled one-sheets, SEVENTY NINE lots of Italian photobustas, THIRTY THREE lots of inserts, and smaller quantities of other sizes (and in many cases they contain most we have left of each specific size).

There is no "catch". These come to us from long time dealers and collectors who have already had us auction their best material, and now they are fine with their remaining items selling in these bulk lots, no matter how low the final selling prices!

This is like walking into a store and having the owner tell you that EVERYTHING is 90% off for one day only!

Remember that in OUR auctions there are NO buyers premiums, so $1 is REALLY $1, and NOT "$1, plus an INSANE $29 buyers premium", and with these bulk lots, you pay only the actual cost of shipping them to you (plus $4 for packing materials)!

Remember that it takes a while to look at all these, so if you can, start looking over these right now, because on Sunday, May 12th these will all be going, going, GONE, and every lot will truly have a new owner, no matter how low the price!

Wow.  That was probably a consignment.  His $0.99 starting price eBay auctions don't achieve the Cinemaster prices.  Nice win for you, though.

Yeah they've always been more expensive but as with everything have increased in price.  They're much more rare than one sheets and most other formats so some folks list them at super high prices.  Cinemasterpieces just sold one for Flashdance (1983) for $795.  :o

Hilarious!  I bought one from him (on Ebay) in 2021 for $1.25.  Yes, one dollar and twenty five cents hahaha

Nice markup!!

I agree, the 40x60s are great.

An email we at eMoviePoster.com received from one of our 69,000+ customers (who is also one of our 3,265+ consignors) that sums up EXACTLY what makes us SO very different from EVERY other auction on the face of the Earth:

"I am 75 years old. After buying from you for 25 years, I consigned my entire collection to you and you auctioned it.

In all these years I have never seen anyone run a tighter ship. You must work harder than anybody I've ever known.

I can't put into words how much I've enjoyed your auctions over the years. Thanks to your great staff, who are so professional.  You must be very proud of them."

If the auctions YOU have been dealing with don't cause you to feel this way EVERY time you get your purchases (or the results of your consignments), then isn't it time you discover "the eMoviePoster.com difference"?

Wow, some really good stuff to finish the month.

I agree, the 40x60s are great.  I love the format, my favorite among US styles.  I only wish I had collected them when they were cheaper.

Bah!

Very nice frames and all, K.  Them 40x60s are stunning on display.

Nice pickups, Morphine.  Are they from a local store, auction, private sale?
Local private sales. I've been purchasing from her over the past two years or so. She's basically been selling  off her late husband's collection.
