You may have to go Friday the 13th for most sequels ever...
30's, Ari. When the Frankenstein series began.... ;)
what he said... oh wait.. ;)
The best of the 80s are in order as follows
I HAD such respect for you Chris ;)
That's right. You have a problem with Tracy Lord? I sure don't.
I really wish I was as organised as T...

I love the 80s!
I went through my favorite movies and chose one poster per movie.
T
.....Here are ten posters for ten 80's movies I like that didnt make your list.

I haven't seen that Highlander before Zorba - what style is it please?
French Gr... One Panel.Thierry hates "French Grande"...
French Gr... One Panel.
Mark, do you have a pic of the more common style Monster Club...?
I really wish I was as organised as T...
Chris, its cool, I like 2 of them ;)
I think Paul wis for me so far, some Quads I really want in there. And pretty much sums up a lot of my viewing time in the 80's.
BR and Thing.
I hate Indiana Jones (sorry folks)

Hate is perhaps too strong, but I don't like watching them.
I used to be nothing about them, but University ruined it for me. After spending MONTHS dissecting the films as part of the racism in Cinema unit. I just find it hard to look at now.
One Crazy Summer (WB, 1986); Rolled US OS:

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
She was spooky..
Nice Princess Bride! Haven't seen that one before. Like that more than the US version. Here are two other Howard posters
Nice Gremlins insert. Every time I go to buy one I stop myself since I have the 1-sh.
Also been watching for that Swamp Thing and Howard the Duck. Glad to know I'm not the only person that likes that Howard poster. ;D thumbup
Shit, completely forgot about this thread. I was just checking my first post and it seems I had a lot of time to waste that day. Pathetic.
If you ever want to get rid of that Highlander let me know. I would take it off your hands lol.
Is that a UK poster or other?
Schan is kicking ass and taking names in this thread!
And one more (last one I think) from a film I used to love as a kid. I watched it recently, and the film actually holds up pretty well. Not so much the effects, though. But, seriously, what kid that saw this movie did not want a glaive?

I believe this poster is actually a promotional poster from the video game manufacturer Gottlieb. Similar to Robotron the game had two joysticks for the player to operate. The artwork is the same as used on the game. Here is a link to the video game museum page: http://www.arcade-museum.com/game_detail.php?game_id=8358 (http://www.arcade-museum.com/game_detail.php?game_id=8358)

Thanks fellas. A couple of more I forgot to add that definitely belong if we are talking 80s flix. My all time favorite 80s flick is Real Genius. Too bad all the paper for it blows.

Schan is kicking ass and taking names in this thread!
Also, that Goonies vid poster should have been the one sheet IMO.

It was definitely advertised as a video game poster when I bought it, so yeah. It crushes the one sheet though. I do admit that I was pretty surprised at the time to learn that there was a Krull video game!
Hard to get more '80s than this >>>

Thanks, Jeff...I couldn't escape the clutches of Pinhead. ;)
Anthony
Did I really do that post on page 1? It's crazy. What's even crazier is that I would have so many more to add if I had the patience.
T
I couldn't either, Anthony... but my version is from the Land of the Rising Sun.

This is a poster I will never own. Never seen the movie, do not intend to ever see the movie, because this pinhead thing freaks me out. He's almost as ugly as the Frankenstein monster.

I really wish I was as organised as T...
The obvious one is the 81 re-release would be Night of the living dead...
I could just send you a bunch of 80's Quads, and you could put them in, Jeff?

I think we got most of them Jeff, a first rate job of reinstating... :D

It sure was. Most of these I probably saw on VHS. I remember when videostores would only have one copy and when it was rented out it was out. You had to wait for it to turn up, usually on the following Friday as they were one week-rentals (in hindsight a terrible business model). And then that elusive tape was there and you'd go home with 3 or 4 tapes and some munchies and your weekend was set. Nice posters T.
It could be that I was a child then and I'm not anymore, but from where I stand, the 80s were so cool.
