Jaws 40 years later or how to make a theater crack up
« on: June 21, 2015, 10:13:50 PM »
Jaws is one of my all time favorite movies so the day it was announced that they were doing a limited release in theaters to mark the 40th anniversary I of course bought tickets. It was a great time and better as it was fathers day and my dad came out to see it too along with my daughter. The crowd as expected was older the average age had to be around 40 so none of the usual garage that makes me think twice about going to the movies. It was great to see it in it's glory on the big screen again. They need to do Close Encounters now.

While we were waiting for the movie to start and hopefully for them to turn the AC up they had no commercials, no trailers, music, anything except five or six Jaws trivia questions over and over again. Eventually bored out of my mind a light bulb went on and I remembered a record I had as a kid, part of which I use for ringtone. I've played it for my daughter once or twice and much to her fear she could not dissuade me from playing it in the near silent theater. Some times I love embarrassing her. Needless to say the entire theater cracked up laughing at it.

So with no further ado... Mr. Jaws-
