Best way to package/ship 20+ folded posters?
« on: March 11, 2015, 06:59:21 PM »
What is the best way to package and ship over 20 folded posters (manifesto  sized, not US one sheets)? Tight and taped between 2 pieces of cardboard and in a larger document envelope or between cardboard and in a parcel box??
Thanks, Mike

I'd go with the parcel box Mike - don't see how 20 folded posters would fit in an envelope along with the cardboard?

double boxed if practical.  Look at what Bruce would do.

I'd probably bag them in groups of 4-5 posters.  Then tape the bags to a piece of cardboard larger than the bag by 10-12cm in all dimensions.  The just put the 4-5 bundles of bagged/boarded posters a box with enough bubble wrap padding so nothing shifts around.

Put them in a plastic bag in box and fill it up with packing material (eg crumpled up newspapers) to make sure they are tight and don't move around. Then put lots of packing paper and tape around the box. Safe and sound!

if your sending to australia, screw them up (or fold depending on your preference), wipe your arse and flush down the shitter, it will come down the drains and be here in a week.
Thanks,

Thanks,

This would explain a lot of the staining on posters I am seeing in Oz

Are Christmas gifts also sent via this method locally?
