I've tried checking on Heritage, eBay and I looked at emovieposters too, but couldn't find anything definitive.

The only difference I could find is some posters have the UGC mark in the bottom left corner (like mine) and some don't, however I've seen posters with the UGC mark labelled as R1970s and R1980s which just adds to the confusion.

Poutine is a Quebecois thing... you would need to add duck confit with a healthy portion of foie gras for T to come anywhere near a poutine.

This is true, Jeff.  UGC is one of France's main distributor.: http://www.ugc.fr/films.html
Their logo at the bottom left means that they got the film rights and re-released it in the 80s.

This said, and I can't stress it enough, only the printer's name matters.  UGC has been around a long time, they own theaters throughout France, and dating a poster based on their logo is a mistake.

They're getting better at it.  I used to email them every time they had a sale of French posters.  I haven't in quite some time.

Yeah.. when they emailed me back, they actually said that had a number of the 2 printings mixed up and labeled incorrectly. And they did then go in and 'reorganise" that, so that all were grouped accordingly.
