It`s great the shelter still has glass in it..that would survive 24 hours in Scotland...

Some guy in the US got done for that recently didn't he? They look like they're locked up pretty good, a better idea might be to catch one of the guys putting them in and slip him a £10 for one...have never seen anyone doing it though!

Can't be too hard to track down the company responsible
I do see the vans around every now and then.
But i don't collect the shelter stuff.

Also seen bigger versions of the same poster on the sides of a few buses

Stole a few gig posters in my time.
Two for the Garbage tour and one for Homelands dance festival.
Tried to steal an Adidas bus shelter poster with Samantha Mumba in Glasgow as well one time, but couldn't get the hinged window more than 12 inches wide :(

You need a special key nowadays but they used to be just a two pronged hook to open them.
I'm sure a crowbar will work. ;)

Buses mustn't come by too often in Scotland, guess there no point in adding posters

yes there was a guy who got busted big time, but the amount he had I think he didnt actually steal them from shelters themselves. if he did, it would have been a full time job. And he must be bloody good at getting away with it so long.
I've seen them left open in Sydney, and often seen them putting in and taking out. I had to deal with the company once years back, the bus shelter at the apartment complex I managed was smashed and the residents hassled me to have it replaced (not my job) the company JC Decaux were a nightmare to deal with, but got a new shelter eventually.
