another never ending work in progress.

I need the Quad, and replacement fotobustas (that somehow disappeared on me).
Apart from that, I am interested in anything I don't have on the title, they seem to slowly fall into my lap thanks to great people.

For me a toss up between the British int one sheet and the niponese. But secretly I love the British Lobby card. Prob because it has sid James on it.

I think it is a video card. I picked up the one for Stargate...

I found out what it is, from NSFGE member tastouzette

"the first thing is a card from "Les Fiches de Monsieur Cinema" a kind of movie encyclopedia constituted by a huge number of cards for films, directors, actors. It was active in France from the 70s to very recently. Hundreds of thousands of people had a year subscription and received hundreds of new cards at home. A kind of not virtual ancestor of imdb. Every movie buff in France was raised with these cards."

Thanks, I'll get it one day, but there is a set of UK double crown posters (4 different posters) that beats the quad, I cant even find images anymore, saw them once online.

The UK half sheet is like the quad,

One day Ill have them all.

Sadly as this is such a classic British film, the UK posters are also the most sought after and valuable.

Oh right, lift bills are an odd size, around 16 1/2 x 22 inches. Thy were used in lifts, but also shopping malls, etc.

20x30 would make it a Double crown.

I had to save up for this, I'd never seen or heard of it existing before.
Art (in part - the Stanley Baker part, not sure where the Peggy Cummins comes from) based on the Italian artists work (*commissioned by the Brits) , which was also used for the UK quad and 1/2 sheet etc.

German A1 Plakat

* Rank paid Italian artists for this stuff by all accounts.
