Actually, I agree. I am still partial to the long daybills (especially the ones that take the three-sheet designs from the US) however many of the 40's and beyond daybills tend to look tacky. However, at least they use artist's impressions of the actors etc.. I like inserts but don't like how so many use photographic stills in the poster. Or worse, have some great artwork and then splash a black-and-white still in the middle of it like in the Sunset Boulevard insert which completely ruins it IMO.
