Gorgeous view!
Beautiful posters, and I love how you mix the movies with the gaming...I think some of those are just wonderful!

Making me jealous...really need to swap out my frames...been looking at the same perty daybills and stuff for ages!

Thank you TAOMP.  Always good to hear positive things from the ladies.  You have some really epic pieces in those frames, so I can understand why it would be difficult to put different posters in them.  Many posters I eventually get a little tired of seeing on the walls after a while while others I could leave them in frames indefinitely.

Thanks Zorba.  It was one of those where after I got it I was like "WOW this thing is nice!", then after framing it I was like "WOW this thing is freakin' SWEET!".  Now I can see why it's such a coveted collectible.  For some of them, it's difficult to know how much better they will look in person, and this was definitely one of those IMO.

Nice stuff here too.  We are an insane lot - that huge flatfile and a dehumidifier in the middle of such a gorgeous abode.

Haha.  Thank you sir.

Everyone is a little "insane in the membrane" in some respect, and everyone here is just insane in a similar way.  Grin

Anybody else have an increasingly more difficult time deciding which gear to leave as permanently framed?  Geez Louise, I really need to get a few more frames.

Some more nice females (as the main image) on posters would be good to break up this wall of dudes.  That would probably be a good research topic, how (it seems to me anyway) that there are so many more leading roles for males and posters with them as the main image than movies with women as the leading role, and them as the main image.  Even on the Pretty Woman one sheet, half of it is Richard Gere.  Maybe it just happens to be that way on the gear for most of my favorite movies.  Kill Bill is a good one that comes to mind.  When I get one, it will likely be in the "permanently framed" category.

Good stuff Neo!

I have 80 frames and only two are permanently framed (Astounding She Monster and Barbarella Style B), so I suggest rotating pretty much everything.  A few posters (Pulp Fiction, LA Confidential, etc.) are in "slow rotate" mode.  Basically, the more expensive the poster, the longer I keep it up, to get my money's worth!

As far as finding female posters, here are some suggestions.

Thanks sir.  With an increasing number of awesome pieces, the only way to have them all permanently framed would be a warehouse or mansion, and that would probably be awesomeness overload.  Good philosophy on the "slow rotate" for the expensive/epic gear.  Nice selection of ladies.

Very stoked that I finally have these beauts, and displayed in all their glory.  A few years waiting for a good Pulp Fiction Lucky Strikes, and at a good price, makes the win even better.  Cool  The Fast Times is pretty epic also, IMO.

Looks Aussie based on the M.A.P.S. in the lower right corner?

Chris is right, it's the Aussie one sheet.  The M.A.P.S. logo would be easier to see with a better photo, and this photo does not do either justice.

Thank you, Mr. Waines.

Any art really looks better in person, and it's unfortunate that a photo cannot do any art justice.  It's amazing to see people in a museum who walk up to a painting, take a picture, and then rush along to the next one and do the same thing.  One of my professors talked about how he saw several people do that in a very high profile museum in New York, and I'd bet that most of us have done about the same thing with our latest acquisitions.  Frames are cool, and art is cooler when not in a hurry.   Cool

cheers  After putting that beaut on the wall, my final opinion is 40x60s are awesome.

The TV   rofl...Yeah, I know, as I was taking the pic I couldn't believe it was blocking that beaut.  It was a beast in its day, I actually told my ex-wife she could take just about everything, EXCEPT THE TV!  Cool  These models have an issue with the optical block, which makes the whole picture turn green, and the optical block fried in mine a few months ago.  Sony was kind enough to sell me a new TV for less than 1/2 the price of a new one, but the old XBR is still pretty sick IMO, and the matching stand itself is sweet.  Being a DIYer, I'm gonna get a new optical block at some point, and fix her.
