Photographing posters
(1/1)
stewart boyle:
Hi,
I have just opened a photobucket account so that i can upload my poster collection, however i was wondering if any members could tell me the best way to photograph my posters without using a flash?.
All of my posters have been stored rolled in cardboard tubes,so im guessing to avoid light reflection i should roll them out on the floor?
Also what is the preferred file size for my pictures?
Best Wishes
Stewart
Ari:
as far as lighting, turn the flash off, I bought 2 x 500 watt flood lamps from a hardware store, not expensive, lay the posters down, reflect the lamps off the ceiling, (assuming its white), you get no glare or reflection.
File size? bigger the better I assume, can always reduce (cant really enlarge) well I get emails that say I can.
CSM:
That's an inventive solution Ari...not just a pretty face I see ;)
