Haha.  I'll put a pic of it hanging on the wall.  Was worried it might scare the kid and my $450 frame job would have to come down.  Luckily she laughed and waved at the angry bear this morning so i guess we`re good!    bed1 :)

This is great.  My daughter likes to go into the basement just to look at my posters (although some are clearly not so appropriate ;/).  We sit on the floor together in the middle of the room and she points to each one on the wall and says "Daddy poster look" over and over.  It's fun and maybe it means there's hope for the collection in the future afterall

Well here's the final product, does look pretty awesome. The colours are great, light UV glass, poster wasn't glued or mounted, the spacing between the 2 mats is great.  Best birthday present I was ever "forced" to get for myself.

I really dig this poster, CV.
I have a similar piece from my neighborhood.
Its an 18x22.  Kinda small but special.

Finally got some spotlight frames and took a couple of hours to decorate the new house.  Thanks Robert for a seamless experience.  Still got all me fingers too.

Don't mind the granny light fixtures they will eventually come down (# 73 on the priority list)  I`m keeping the left side wall for a french 1p....that's going up next. Then - the loo.

I fucking love this shit.

And Vick....

Who's that walking in the kitchen? Someone (maybe it's Mrs. Crazy Vick?) holding a sharp knife and a cutting board...

Getting ready to prep some din-din?

Haha thanks.  Ya wife is on the phone prepping some dinner... can a life get any better (she lives to cook - its a Quebec thing) I took the pics like that to show they were hung one a higher level which looks awesome, when you're upstairs its really striking. Of course they're not the most expensive or sought after posters, but I like them.  And besides I can change them pretty easy.  Looks even better in person.  Cant wait to put up more.

The frames on those high walls really show those posters off well, Vick.  thumbup

Is that area like a foyer or something similar?

I guess you could call it that, although its not very big...front entrance on one side, stairs (up and down) on the other.

I didn't even need any backing on the posters, what with the 3 inlays that are provided.  I suspect i will for the g r a n d e though.

Anyways if any of you arent displaying your posters for lack of suitable and (relatively) inexpensive framing options, definitely check out Spotlight displays!

Yes, great use of wall space Vick. How are those frames fixed though? My worry would be that if one should fall it could potentially cause great harm to a child.

They are screwed in real tight - the half sheet and insert have 4 screws and wall anchors while the OS has 8 of them. I am completely confident they are not going anywhere ... still, that is a valid concern.  I'll be changing the posters every few months so will definitely check to make sure the system is still sound.

The fact that there is no backing board i figure helps a lot too for two reasons, one being that there is less weight altogether and second - the whole things is nice and snug against the wall and not protruding out (so less gravitational pull i figure)  I was also impressed with the snapping sides - almost like a mousetrap.  When you snap a side shut watch your fingers, its very firm and tight, so unlikely the snap sides would ever open by itself.

I'm thinking all this good PR for SD should equate to more discounts in the future.... ;)
