Why are you encouraging him to pay $331 for a re-release worth no more than $75?  The re-release also is inferior to the original:

I am sure he is big enough, old enough and mature enough to decide for himself whether he gets this particular one, or not.  Also, if he feels so inclined, one can do this thing called erm, negotiate.  No one pays the asking price...

The damage on the left side of the art, down the autogyro's exhaust and the sky behind it, is noticeable on the original 1967 1-sheet but it's VERY noticeable on the reissue 1-sheet."

Getting back to the point of the query, which was one of, 'Please indicate the whereabouts' I believe the job was done.  Technically, in these circles, the word 'rippoff' is clearly inaccurate and just bollocks.

As is customary, everyone has an opinion about pricing. I'm aware that this poster is in no way close to $330 in value, so no worries there. Alternatively, I dont think I'm going to find one for $75 either.

I have no intention of buying an original, so the "quality" of the image is not my highest priority. Since I have all of the other R1980s, I just need this one to complete the set and move on to other things.

Coincidentally, and I did wonder whether this would demonstrate conflictions of interests, there was a complete set of all seven restrikes (or in Mel's world, 'worthless and pointless damn rotten rip-offs') on ebay.com.

I must admit to not having pointed these out prior to picking up as I too do not have the US 1 Sheets to YOLT - although I would like them if chance permitted.  Also, a complete set does rather minimise the leg work.

Simes, I just raised the issue of price.  I have several of these restrikes (including the Thunderball) and think they're a great deal for $75ish.  You pointed out a dealer copy for $330, 4 times its typical price.  Perhaps I should have been more diplomatic, but for just a bit more ($400) you can get a first release Thunderball.
