Shortest Shipping Story ever...
« on: March 12, 2014, 12:53:07 PM »
I sent a package to Europe. It came back with a note saying "Package shows damage"

THE END.

I actually had to laugh. I have never had anything like that happen. It was like a steamroller went over it and then backed over it again. "package shows damage". Indeed!

"Package shows damage"  laugh1

Man, that is the worst damage I have seen to a tube.
Hope you're getting it sorted mate!
Best wishes,
Adam

Thankfully it was The Human Vapor half sheet. So, not an expensive piece. I have never seen a tube, particularly these really heavy tubes from Yazoo Mills, get flattened like that. Almost worth the price of admission.

For a second, I was almost thinking you might have said it was a OS for either Twister or Flatliners.   rofl1

Oh, that's good Jeff! Wish i had thought of that. It did make me think of another film though. The two morons in the boat in Splash, standing on the diver's air hose. Maybe they got a new gig at the postal service in Norway.

Nah Rich. Just used condition now: "Very clean with 19 sharp repeating vertical creases"...
We can all argue about the grade now.

That's hysterical! Not only flattened like a pancake, but given a twist also for good measure

Damage like that almost has to be intentional.  That is the flattest tube I have ever seen!

Happy it wasn't an incredibly precious piece of paper but terrifying nonetheless...

Nah, I bet it got caught in the rollers of some sorting machine.  Strong they are!

Sorry to read that. It really is frustrating when the shipping goes all wrong.

I always wonder how owners get their precious posters to Rich or Bruce or Gray. I dont think i can be that brave. I will fear mine might get lost or damaged in transit...
