Hmmm, maybe covered in another thread, maybe not.  Here both the 1S and HS have the missing arm and switch hair color:

In looking at the HS above, i think they got it right there and the visual works for me. That area is printed dark enough where it just looks as tho her arm is hidden by the dark shadow between them.

The OS, tho... is the ol' case of the dismembered hand.  ;)

Another Realart example. This one on their 1953 RR HS for Son of Frankenstein. Once again, they chose to use an image of Karloff from Bride. Someone in their art dept must have really LOVED that image. And I'm not quite sure who that is, in profile, at Karloff's chin. But it doesn't appear to be Rathbone. The nose gives it away.  ;)



They also used a different Bride of Frank head still, too, in 1951, for their RR of Frankenstein.

Even the Yugoslavians got it wrong with their 1950's first release poster for Son Of Frankenstein, also using an image of Karloff from Bride.   :-\
