Collection of Adult Toys

I used to collect Vinyl toys and still have them all tucked away somewhere. This is part of my collection of figures by graffiti artist Dalek, who now paints under his real name of James Marshall. I have many more by Dalek but these are the ones I've managed to photograph and sort in Photoshop. I have some of his prints too and an original painting which, unlike any of my posters, are on the wall!

Although looking at sinister vinyl rabbits may have also caused heads to turn I suppose...

Dalek was quite popular few years ago; sadly it hasn't done much in the recent years as far as I know and his past prints didn't gain any value.  Even his great print at Studiocromie didn't sell out - http://www.studiocromie.org/gallery.php?id_art=154&id=582

I am not into vynil toys, but I know the ones of KAWS are popular and a sell out. I like also the ones of Frank Kozik and Ron English.

But one thing is sure, with the arrival of 3d printers in the market, vynil toys are slowly replaced by 3D toys (see artist like LUDO).

Apologies to all for the misleading title  I have to admit, if someone did post their collection of 'Adult' toys they'd be very brave.

TheBigBoss, I actually started collecting with Kaws and have quite a substantial collection. Also got some Michael Lau, Futura and Mist but Kaws and Dalek were my passion. In terms of success they couldn't be more different, I couldn't sell my Dalek collection for nearly what I paid for it but I couldn't afford to buy my Kaws collection if I had to start now. Having said that, I have the same philosophy as with posters. I collected them because I liked them and couldn't care less what they may or may not be worth in the future.

This is a pic of a couple of large pieces, Dalek Studdie and Kaws 4 Foot Dissected Companion. You'd have to be very accommodating if these two were to fall into the 'Adult' toy category  .

I collect "adult" toys too but prefer to call them designer toys or urban vinyl to avoid confusion... Or maybe that's the thing to say on a date: "Do you want to come over to my place and check out my collection of adult toys?" 

Recently, there has been an influx of fakes in the more expensive end of the market, e.g. KAWS. I bought this Dissected Companion which turned out to be fake but it was really hard to spot - fortunately I got my money back! I found a real one later for about the same price.
