Movie Poster Exchange has opened an Alternative Poster section. The Alternative movement has been growing for some time now and the demographic/active collectors far outnumber Traditional poster collectors. It's an exciting movement reconceptualizing film posters. The Alamo Drafthouse started issuing these a decade ago and that has morphed into Mondo. We have developed a relationship with a startup called Zoetrope Galleries and they have issued their three first posters. We are carrying them exclusively at this time.
Bullitt was released two weeks ago and the sales have been solid. All of the Remarques and proofs are sold out and the regular hand-signed edition is doing well but still available.
Double Indemnity will be released next month.
There was evidently a printing issue which delayed the original release date but A Christmas Story has just been released. We just received them and they are wonderful. The regular style signed and numbered edition is on sale today. There are 20 special Remarques(each has an original sketch by the artist in the lower numbered area). There were 5 Printer's Proofs made as well. These special pieces will be available Saturday December 20th. These are high quality collectable pieces and would make great Christmas gifts as well.
