Most of the veterans have probably seen these vids, but those newer to the hobby of paper collecting might find this interesting. The Lautrec and Mucha art deco vids are absolutely amazing...

I am hoping this is the right place to post these, I have been going through some of my Quads as I seem to have lost my Nightmare on Elm st quad. Anyway found these carnival/circus posters from the 30's.

The colors on these British circus posters really grab you.  Any backstory you can share on these, Paul?  Like age, and size (last one, bumper cars).  Very nice stuff.

As far as I know they are all 30's, I bought a few from a guy who did some work at a printers back in the 80's, and was given some by the owner who had them laying around in a stock room. They are all 40x30 Quad size, even the bottom one is a vertical Quad. They were generic posters, so the spaces are for the names and locations to be added by who ever bought them, hence these are blank as they were never used. Which is a shame as I would of liked the town name etc on them. Mind this sort of poster was pasted up, so I doubt any exist with writing on.

So is this the holy grail of circus posters?  Heritage sold this one for 1500.  Are there more expensive ones?

I'd say that circus poster sold at that price due to the crossover giant ape appeal!

This poster is certainly up there of collectible circus posters.

I paid a bit more than that (from a bricks & mortar store) for the below french 2 panel (63" x 94"), circa 1968. Older circus posters are generally more valuable, but I like the more modern looking stuff like the below.
