Cheesy Cool Horror Posters
« on: April 05, 2013, 08:00:04 PM »

Not my collecting forte, but I absolutely love cheesy horror posters from mainly the 80's. Probably most of them are from crap movies but the posters are cool. A poster from Rich's current rolled auction illustrates  what kind of posters that I am talking about:

"Please step away from the keyboard.  In my unsolicited opinion, you paid too much for your poster," said APF Price Police Officer Thierry.

The kids in front of the van look like they are from the television show Glee and are about to break out in a song.

Daybill art - extremely realistic.  ;)

Here's the Evil Dead daybill. Unless it's ectoplasm, then they all have a printing flaw. Check the pink blob beside the woman's face. Doesn't appear on the 1sht.

I have seen that poster before and have wondered how scary can an elevator ride get?  But the poster does get the most mileage out of the storyline.
