Shocked

I can't think of anything clever to say... I'm stunned.  Is that a consignment sale or did you track them down yourself?  Nice score, I'm sure they'll sell soon enough.

Wow.  It must have taken them a while as, of the four, I've only seen the Bond DP come up for auction in the last few years.  My kudos go out to whoever put in the legwork to hunt these down... its too bad they aren't on their wall!

Thierry to Silhouette:  Please tell her it's a tiny part of my collection so she doesn't think I'm a total creep.  Oh wait, no, I am a total creep.

Dave, were they already on linen when your client bought them?

Curious as to their shape when initially bought.

These and the Thunderball doors are just fantastic on every level.

From the description (read the Cx ratings on Dave's eBay page), I would guess the Bond DP was the one from eBay about 6-8 months back.  If I remember correctly it was rolled and had some minor edge damage/tears, but it was really in pretty good shape.  If I had won that one (and I did bid) I would not have backed it.

Then again, to each their own I guess.  If I already had the other three and they were all backed, I might change my mind for consistency sake...

Whoever landed these knew the value of rarity ahead of minor condition concerns. Worrying about condition on these is like being disappointed the Sphinx is missing his nose.

Very true.

I never say anything drastic like this, but I would perhaps consider trading my entire collection for this fearsome foursome.  Just sayin'.
