Lots of really nice posters there.  Italians are my #1 in design.  If it wasn't for that awful paper quality, I would collect way more than I do.

Keep 'em coming.

I have few posters from other countries in order to make a comparison, but surely the quality of italian paper is pretty poor. I have only one American poster, a 6sh, and the difference is remarkable. Maybe, but I'm not sure, we are on the same level of French (?)
However, just look at the poor condition of some of my 2fogli to understand that luckily I'm not very demanding on this aspect  ;)

Below I have put some new pics..

MANIAC - M.Carreras - 1963 - 2fogli - art by Longi

DR.STRANGELOVE.. - S.Kubrick - 1963 - 2fogli

TIM BURTON'S NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS - H.Selick - 1993 - 2fogli

EVERYTHING YOU ALWAYS WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT SEX ..- W.Allen - 1972 - 2fogli

L'ASSASSIN EST DANCE L'ANNUAIRE - L. Joannon - 1961 - 2fogli -art by Symeoni

No, French paper is actually pretty good, considering.  There is some bad French paper, but it's more on a per title basis.  Italian is the worst.  Spanish is pretty bad too, but I don't like Spanish art, so I don't collect it.

Anyhow, you've got some good stuff there, some i've already added to my 2,000 Wanted poster list.

Thanks T!
Compared to yours mine are small things.. If you like these too  (where the artwork is often very similar to the international one) it is really true love!

Well, of this last batch, Rabid, Videodrome and Mean Streets are all original designs and amongst the best, if not the best, for the titles.

Ops..you're right. I thought that artwork for Videodrome was equal to the French and that of Rabid was similar to the Spanish. I checked and I was wrong..  memory plays tricks!

I usually try to avoid re-realese (this poster came out when the movie is back in Italian cinemas in 1996) and this one in particular was also a bit ill-treated, but it cost me a little and first Italian edition is completely different and too expensive for me. So, waiting to win the lottery, I enjoy the artwork of Saul Bass in large format.. that is always a pretty sight!
