Are they actual casts of the actors' faces?

They are models.. each stands about 9" tall. Pretty good detail, IMO. Karoff is pretty spot on!  thumbup

 I shot the images using candle light. The Bride is a little soft on the focus, tho :(

Great Aurora kits Paul. My brother had, and built many of them as kids; Frankie, Wolf Man, The Mummy, Phantom, Dracula and Creature all come to mind. Good memories.  thumbup

I used to have a bunch of the non-glowing Aurora kits, all assembled, painted and lined up on shelves.
Frankenstein, Dracula, Wolf Man, Mummy, Creature from the Black Lagoon, Kong, etc...
Then Ginger, my pet woolly monkey, pulled a scene from KING KONG and scaled the shelves and trashed all the models by throwing them at me.
The mischief maker looked just like this...
