Congrats, it looks good. I don't have a ton of stuff in this area, but here is what I have.

When putting Kong away for now, took a couple of pics of some other models lurking in the study.

Paul, do you know if there is a Mummy (Karloff) model in the same style as these?

Back when I was younger, I had the Aurora glow-in-the-dark kits of The Hunchback (tied to the turntable) and The Mummy (standing, with his arm outstretched).  Wish I still had those as they were so cool

Hey, Paul, is that a Screamin' Mars Attacks model???
Several years ago, I was contracted to do some pre-production art and that model is based exactly on one of my illustrations.  I was told that that particular piece was never used.

I'll have to dig up the original of that particular scene, but on my model sheet (see pic below) you can see the tall alien (sans helmet) which I designed -- per their specs -- before they decided to reduce the aliens to the size of pygmies for the movie.  These are basic line drawings, without shading.

Hello Chris, Yes there is an Im-ho-tep (Karloff form the Mummy) model, I think it was released by Horizon. It is long out of production though.

I still have all my original Aurora kits ( I told you I part with nothing) the build quality is that of an 8 year old!! Oh, I was 8 when I did them. I'll post a couple of pics, don't expect too much.

The Mars attacks is a Screamin kit, I thought it was based on the banned cards from the fifty's. Your drawings are first rate, and as you say the one without the helmet is a dead ringer for the kit model. There is a card of the scene included with the kit I'll see if I can find it and post it. It maybe something you worked on.

Thanks, Paul.  Yes, the work I did was based upon the Topps series, with all of the blood and gore. They were diagrams of proposed diorama-like model kits and that complete piece you have with the girl at the door and the victim in the street is a dead ringer for what I thought was an aborted project.  The tall alien soldier (lower left in my drawing) was to be included with the rubble and girls. There were other dioramas that were produced to include the same alien soldier and the other alien leaders. What you've got looks very cool and I'm glad I now have a pic of one assembled.

I went looking for the card and found the box with all bits still in. The instructions look the same as your drawings?

Paul, those paints look very nice.  Did you do the brush work?  Curse of the Werewolf is striking.
Thanks for posting the model sheets.  Yes, they are mine.
I also did Screamin's Boba Fett, Chewbacca, Luke (from RotJ), Mary Shelley's Frankenstein and others..

This arrived today.  It's my first non-MP piece.  Bought it for the Ritz Brothers (I know, who?).  Lost out on the WC tonight, so I'm still looking for some paper with them on it, dammit!

Angelo, I have always found these glass slides interesting but in my opinion, you can only really enjoy them if you have a slide projector.

Do you have the right equipment to project the image?

years back someone on MPT posted the design to build your own, cripes, I forget who.
But it can be done, always meant to myself. They had one that turned and so the images changed, projected on your wall.
Seems like heaven

The only reason I got it was for the Ritz Brothers.  It's a nice little placeholder until I get some paper with them on it.  Maybe I'll look into magic lantern projectors and see if one can be found or built to show it off properly

Agreed, first rate stuff. A man after my own heart.

Are the Nunchaku's one's he used in a film, or just one's he's used?
