MS45 US 1 Sheet
« on: July 14, 2012, 08:34:43 AM »
Not usual for me to ask, as the stuff I have is mostly obvious.
I have this MS45 1 Sheet, and never thought there was anything wrong with it. I cant even remember exactly who sold it to me.
Its been rolled for years.
Anyways I had a look yesterday and the paper stock is just slightly unusual.
Its a semi glossy poster, the back matt finish.
The paper is thin like a non gloss poster.

Its full size and looks like the ones I see on the net. Just the paper stock is a little strange and I mean a LITTLE)

Anyone know of a full sized repro of this? or have an original they can touch for me?

Heres a pic with flash so you can see the gloss, and the cracking in the ink.

BMPG, Inc. (Brude Movie Paper Grading) has a deal for you.
Send it to me, I'll grade and keep it and all you have to do is get over it.
 cheers

strange choice to repro?
if it is a repro that is?
if you have had it years, somehow i doubt anyone would have bothered to make a dupe?
it was hardly ET at the box office was it haha?
i like it, recently got a loc for it but dont have a 1sht to compare im afraid?
I don't know much, but i do know what my eyes are telling me!

there is very light hand fold, but its rolled, BH has a rolled one in his fixed price section.

Thats what I was thinking re strange choice for repro, and it certainly isn't brand new, hmmm..

If there are other rolled genuine ones this one is probably too. But I don't think it is a strange choice of repro at all, lots of "cool" horror/exploitation posters have been repro'd over the years. It's not about value, just selling something for people to put on their walls and they don't care if it's original.

agreed on both counts, I only think its a strange repro in that it feels "old". I imagine repros of this would be popular later on in the 90's+ rather than early 80's - although I aren't a Forensic Paper Analyst or anything ;).

I can't seem to find any full sized repros on the title, I wish I remembered who sold it to me. I blame Vodka.

Thanks

Come on Richards, do you think that even a single poster in your collection would be worth reprinting?
I am amazed how removed from reality you sometimes are.

If you'd spend less time eating fake pizza and watching footy (the West Coast Eagles are losers anyway), you could actually find out more about reprints and reissues and add some value to this forum once in a while.
I don't care if the SUPERMAN RETURNS is a fake. It looks awesome linenbacked.

Even the worst Aussie rules football team could beat the crapola out of your "sports" stars. What do you do for sport in Germany? Sauerkraut eating and high wire polka?

I bet the linen used to back Superman FAKE is also FAKE, probably made out of old lederhosen.

If you think Australian football is a "sport" it just confirms what kind of uneducated lowlife hobos you Western Australian country folk are. I assume you also consider sheep legitimate sexual partners (no need to comment, the educated readers of this thread already know the answer).

better to root sheep than build a stupid wall down the middle of your already tiny excuse for a country, THEN go knock it down. Crazy!

That wall was just a test.
The real one will be built around the coastline of your pitiful excuse for a country.

Oh and another thing: I was just talking to a respectable dealer of posters, who reminded me how amateurish the artwork on Australian posters is. Makes me wonder why you had them drawn by children? Were the grown up's busy humping sheep?

He is funny, or strange, or IDIOTIC! something like that. Even if he collected all the damn Bavarian Chocolate cake and made it into mud to make bricks, he couldn't make a brick wall 1/100th the size of our giant and proud land.

Anyways whats wrong with your name? didn't your parents know how to spell ARI?

Quite the contrary. They were however able to afford two more consonants and give the name some class. Seems like your parents didn't think you were worth it (and how right they were!).

"U" is a consonant????
Is that what they teach you in Albany's elementary schools? No wonder nobody ever bothered invading your country, there's not even enough intelligence in you to keep you as slaves!!!

Bring it on, Richards!
And you can bring the other primates from your primary school with you (unless they have to draw new daybills).

Being a good sport and a non-smoker, I would leave the cigarettes to Ari and go for the dagger!
