what is a good money converter

usually eBay converts it for me, but a few sites, just have the uk's money symbol and 14, i believe 19 ponds is close to 35 bucks US, man i feel dumb, anyone know of a good site that converts for me.

I do monetary conversions all the time.

when I worked in gold, we had a pager that we carried around, that updated exchange rates and precious metal prices every second.

I was too young to remember, but when there was hiperinflation down here, prices at the supermarkets were also updated every second using one of these:



Prices would change in the lapse between you entered and got out of the place  eyeroll

I spent a summer in Brazil.  We used to deposit our pocket change every night in the bank, in gold and then pull out a days worth of spending money in the morning to avoid a 20% drop in value overnight.
