I made my own emoticon/smiley, which I use elsewhere. If I get lots of supporters here I will put it in all my posts. It is much more handsome ;-) and less jaundice than those others:

I didn't think I'd cause that much stir with the emoticons!  You fuckers need to chill!  I see a lot of "painfully stupid" shit that goes on here and elsewhere, and I sure as fuck don't go and say that what you're writing or doing is "painfully stupid".   And, guess what?  If you're distracted by an emoticon to such an extent that you can't write, I DON'T WHAT TO HEAR WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY!

And, because I'm not Andy sucking my advertisers collective balls for revenue, I don't care if people post or not.  You can always go back to MPF where the emoticons are more friendly, and where you have to ask permission to speak your mind and hope you're not banned.

First, if it offends, turn off images in your browser settings and any images you want to see, you can click and load THAT image- if its a poster or whatever you want to see.

Second, Icons are good, in some cases, like if I said, GET LOST YOU DAMN PIRATE, compaired to GET LOST YOU DAMN PIRATE  

It helps to make sure the persons EMOTION (hence the term emoticon) is understood

I hear you Holiday, running a forum isnt always easy, people complain. (I have had my fair share - saved a few, maybe one day ill publish them - people with to much time on their hands and love to whinge)

Its like working in retail, they SAY the customer is always right, but aint true.
If you dont like the service or product go somewhere else.

I meant "stir" in the most loose sense.  It's nothing at all.  And, I just curse a lot.  I get to do that.

as said, turn off imagesm and click on the ones you want to see.

Someone says LOOK AT THIS GREAT POSTER FOR THE MOVIE (whatever) you click, otherswise you wont see any images, I used to do that when I had a limited bandwith, or start your own forum with NO Emoticons, or whatever.
If stupid pictures of cute little faces doing whatever they do is your biggest problem, your a lucky person.
