Post your favorite Bob Peak artwork and posters in this thread.

To start it off, I've rounded up some unused concept art from various sites on the Internet, including the official Bob Peak website and The Sanguine Fine Art gallery, which is selling several of his original art paintings. I think you'll agree that many of these are spectacular and qualify as "fine" art.

New book coming out.

New book, great !!
Thanks for sharing !

One of my favorite Peak posters is the German C-Style for APOCALYPSE NOW. One of the few times I was angry at myself, not really knowing what was going on: I was lucky and had two mint copies in the 80s. Didn't realize how sought-after they became in the 90s and sold them both at Film Fairs for about $80.00 each. Years later I saw them at Galleries in London and Paris for $800 - 1.200,00
and thought ''WHAT THE F...!''
Never thought an 80s (OK, 1979) poster could be worth that much.
But the postergod was nice to me and I recently got another copy in a poster lot, 'won't sell this one for $80.- now I guess:

The Bob Peak thread has been long over due.

As you can all see I am a Bob Peak fan. I have been working on a frame rotation I call project Peak for a while now. Its not done and it is stiil a work in progress. I still need a couple of frames and poster switches but it is coming together. This is where we stand tonight....

The first step as was posted in the whats on your walls thread.

This German A0 has been sitting on the kitchen floor waiting to be hung for a while now.

Might or might not be what gets the quad frame.

The Comfort of Strangers Corner.

Further back with the Yakuza B2 entrance

Anyway, I love my Peak and Im still going to work on the project.

Guys, that Dark Crystal is definitely not a Bob Peak. When I added my copy to my site I did some investigation into who was responsible and a reader of the site got in touch to confirm who the artist was (Bob Lee Hickson).

Bob Peak did do Dark Crystal artwork, which can be seen on the Japanese poster.

I think that this is not Peak but David Grove. Cool poster though.

The Peak art would look like this. Unused concept art.

Yep, I messed up on that one and will delete that image.  Several websites wrongly attributed it to Peak but this website correctly attributes it to Grove.

Agree the art is too good for the movie. Rollerball will never make my top 1,000 movies list.

I started out collecting posters for the movies I liked and then branched into a very few specific actors, directors, themes and artists. Peak has gotten the lion share of my artist love.
