Our buyers saved even more than usual in Parts I, III and IV of our December Major Auction!

If you have EVER bought from ANY major auction anywhere (movie posters or anywhere else), then you already know that several unhappy surprises await you after your first winning bid. The first is that they tack on a massive 19.5% or 20% or even 25% "buyers premium", a hideous "service fee" that you must pay in addition to what you bid (and it would not be so bad if at least some or all of this at least went to the consignor, but 100% of it goes to the auction house (which is why they have it, so that they can deceive the consignors into thinking their fees are not extremely high). Worst of all, some auctions have a minimum $19 buyers premium, so they take $19.25 on a $20 sale, leaving the consignor with literally pennies.

The second is shipping. At almost every major auction, there are two terrible things about how they ship their items. The first is that they often depend on shipping to be an added "profit center" and so they often charge insanely high shipping charges that bear no semblance to what they pay to ship the items. The second is that their people doing the shipping (if they do it "in house") often no next-to nothing about packing vintage movie paper (and if they hire an outside shipping company, then it is even more likely that company knows little about shipping).

Of course, there are added worries. Many auctions use "stock images" (or enhance the images they take) to make items look better than they are, and often they mis-describe or overgrade items. This would not be so bad if they stood behind what they auction, but actually it is just the other way around, because almost every major auction subscribes to the "buyer beware" policy, where they guarantee absolutely NOTHING about what they auction (ALL sales are "final").

But all of this is exactly the opposite at eMoviePoster.com. We have NO buyers premiums whatsoever! On shipping, we NEVER charge more than what we pay to ship the item (plus $3 for packing materials) and often, in our "regular" weekly auctions, we have a flat-rate U.S. shipping, no matter how many items the buyer gets, which can save them a massive amount on shipping!

And of course we are well known throughout the collectibles world as having both the harshest and most accurate grading system there is, and we ALWAYS show you an actual unenhanced item of every item we auction, so there are no surprises when the items arrive. And we alone of EVERY major auction has a lifetime guarantee on almost every item we auction (we only make an exception of signed items). If ANY item we auction proves to other than we said (an unmarked re-release, a repro, etc), then we offer a full refund the moment we discover our error, and we even refund the shipping. Most important, we track the people down, even if it is many YEARS since they bought the item from us!

BUT IN PARTS I, III, AND IV OF OUR JUST-CONCLUDED MAJOR AUCTION, OUR BIDDERS HAD A CHANCE TO SAVE FAR MORE THAN USUAL! What do I mean? In all three of those parts, we offered our $12 flat-rate U.S. shipping, no matter how many items each bidder won!

This addition special promotion will end up costing us thousands of dollars. To take the most extreme example, the person who bought the Casablanca one-sheet in Part I only paid $12 for us to ship it to him, even though (because of the high insurance cost) it cost us $92.26 to send it via Registered Mail! And this was true with lots and lots of the buyers in Part I, (and also in Part III and IV), because in all of those three parts we only charged U.S. buyers a flat $12 shipping!

In addition, we had another promotion in Part I only, where all those who bought over 10 items received a giant refrigerator magnet, and all those who bought over 20 items received the giant refrigerator magnet, PLUS the set of the first six auction catalogs we did (which originally retailed for $120)!

So these are just that many more reasons to always think "eMoviePoster.com" first, when you are thinking of bidding in any auctions, whether online or live, major or regular, etc!

Do you like lobby cards? Want to give yourself a great inexpensive holiday present? If you have ANY interest in vintage lobby cards, then you are going to LOVE our current auctions of 999 complete and incomplete lobby card sets (6,067 cards in all) closing in HOURS at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/14.html, because they represent a really great lobby card buying opportunity!

Think I am exaggerating? Think again, because as of this writing, with just hours to go, there are 193 of these sets at $1 or with no bid and over ONE THIRD at just $1 to $5! Since all of these have at least 2 cards, and over half of them are complete sets of 8 or more, this means most are well under just a DOLLAR per card and many are just PENNIES per card.

And on all the sets (not just the lowest priced ones), almost ALL of them are FAR under where the same or similar sets have sold for in the past (and in some cases, you will likely be able to buy a complete or incomplete set for little more than what most dealers would charge for the title card or one of the better scenes)!

Remember that on OUR auctions there are NO buyers premiums, so $1 is REALLY $1, and NOT "$1, plus $19 buyers premium", and you pay just $12 U.S. shipping no matter how many of these you get, even if you get 100 sets! If you focus on the least expensive cards, you may be able to buy a giant box of hundreds of cards, and have it cost just $100 or so, INCLUDING U.S. shipping!

If you are a fan of older lobby cards, know that over half of these are from the 1950s and earlier, and many of these older cards offer the absolute best values, even though many of these titles are extremely rare! Are you only interested (or mostly interested) in a specific genre, star, studio, or decade? Don't forget to use our "Search Filters" which are located to the left of our auction galleries.

For example, in the case of these lobby card auctions, they include a whopping 210 horror/sci-fi sets (including some excellent titles), and you can see just those by clicking on the Search Filter that says "horror/sci-fi", and the same is true for all the other filters, like "cowboy western", "crime", "Walt Disney", "Alan Ladd", "James Bond", or for the 118 lobby card sets that are solely from the 1940s, and on and on! Using these Search Filters well makes your time spent in our galleries FAR more productive, and once you get used to them, you won't know how you ever lived without them (and there is no other auction site that has similar Search Filters that work like ours do!).

And you can now pay for your purchases entirely within our "Checkout 2.0", which even works with "Pay and Hold" orders, which saves you a fortune on shipping! But there is no way you can look through 999 lobby card sets in just a short while, so whether you would be purchasing these to add to your collection or to re-sell for big profits, why not start looking these over soon, and give yourself plenty of time to place your bids, so it can be YOU can be getting some the great deals that surely will be made when these close in just a few hours?

Our auctions closing Sunday at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/1/15.html are TWO sets of auctions in one! First, we have 105 "oversized" rolled posters (mostly 40x60 posters and 24" x 82" paper banners), plus some other rarities (including two possibly unique posters from the aborted 2001 release of Scorsese's Gangs of New York!).

Most of these posters virtually never are offered at sale or auction. If you like super-rare and unusual posters, this auction (the first 105 items closing Sunday) is for you!

Second, the remaining 728 items are all "bulk lots"  (containing 11,966 items in all). But whereas we usually mostly only offer lots of posters, lobby cards and stills, THIS time we are offering hundreds of bulk lots of really rare books and magazines, collected over many decades by a dedicated film buff who loved reading about the greatest Hollywood directors and screenwriters.

Included are many lots that consist of printed screenplays of great movies. This collection could not be duplicated in a decade, and yet all these items will have new owners come Sunday, because all the lots started at $1, and REALLY have no reserve.

This month's offering (we do an auction solely of "bulk lots" at least once a month) represents a great opportunity to get fantastic bargains on all types of movie paper (and this month, lots of film books and magazines too).

These contain something for every collector, and dealers will love the under wholesale prices on many of the lots! As of right now, with two days to go, 275 of these lots and oversized rolled posters have no bid at all, and TWO THIRDS are still at their opening bid of $1, and the rest are mostly currently at FAR under low wholesale prices (in fact, almost all of the bulk lots are at just pennies per item!).

Remember that on OUR auctions there are NO buyers premiums, so $1 is REALLY $1, and NOT "$1, plus $19 buyers premium", and with these bulk lots and oversized rolled posters, you pay only the actual cost of shipping them to you (plus $3 for packing materials) and we WILL combine your purchases into as few packages or tubes as possible!

Whether you would be buying these to add to your collection at joke low prices, or whether you would be buying to re-sell online, or through a store or at collectible shows, you will likely never get a chance to get greater bargains! Unlike many sellers of bulk lots, we at eMoviePoster.com always picture every single item in every bulk lot, so you always know exactly what you will be receiving, and just how great a deal each bulk lot is at the price you pay!

If YOU want to take advantage of these unbelievably low-priced bulk lots and oversized rolled posters, then you need to visit the above link well before they begin closing on Sunday at 3 PM CST, because it takes a while to look at over 105 oversized rolled posters AND 728 bulk lots containing 11,966 in all!

Merry Christmas! Some fool scheduled 105 "oversized" rolled posters (mostly 40x60 posters and 24" x 82" paper banners) AND 728 "bulk lots"  (containing 11,966 items in all) to close on the afternoon of Christmas Day at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/15.html, so there may be the chance for really incredible buys, especially since there are NO reserves on any of them and they ALL start at $1!

If YOU don't celebrate the holiday, or get tired of the endless football games, or just want to take a break, you could do no better than to look these over, as the 105 "oversized" posters contain LOTS of good (and almost never seen) titles and the bulk lots contain LOTS of incredible bargains!
Many of these bulk lots came from a collector who loved film history (especially great directors) and there are many, many lots of books on great directors, laserdiscs of their movies, magazines of film criticism, etc, and most of those are practically being GIVEN away (and I am not exaggerating)!

As of right now, with HOURS to go, 318 of these lots and oversized rolled posters are still at their opening bid of $1, HALF are at just $1 to $4, and the rest are mostly currently at FAR under low wholesale prices (in fact, many of the bulk lots are at just pennies per item!).

If YOU want to take advantage of these unbelievably low-priced bulk lots and oversized rolled posters, then you need to visit the above link well before they begin closing TODAY at 3 PM CST, because it takes a while to look at over 105 oversized rolled posters AND 728 bulk lots containing 11,966 in all!

Maybe it is because people were traveling over the holiday, but the current bid prices on our 999 non-U.S. posters from 37 different countries closing in HOURS at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/13.html are mostly so low that they qualify as being below wholesale!

Not only are they almost all WAY below where the same (or similar) posters have sold for in the past, but they are often many times below what any dealer would ask for the same items (which is why, if there is not a lot more bidding, it will likely mostly be dealers who buy these, to re-sell at a large profit, which is easy to do, because we give any buyer, on request, an unwatermarked image, so they can add them to their site with no work at all).

Think I am exaggerating about how low the current bid prices are? 283 of these are currently at $1 or have no bid, and just under HALF are at $1 to $5! And these are honest no reserve auctions, where every item really starts at $1, and really sells to the highest bidder (and we have no "buyers premiums", so "$1" is REALLY $1, and NOT "$1, plus $19 buyers premium").

Plus, no matter how many of these you buy today, the U.S. shipping is just $12, even if you get 100 of them (actual cost anywhere else). And using our unique "Pay and Hold" system, you can get all you want over a three week period (six weeks outside the U.S.) and you pay just $12 U.S. shipping for everything as long as it fits in one package safely. And you can now pay for your purchases entirely within our "Checkout 2.0", which even works with "Pay and Hold" orders, which saves you a fortune on shipping!

Remember that non-U.S. posters like these often have great completely different images from the corresponding U.S. one-sheets, but sometimes they sell for bargain prices. But you can't get those bargains if you aren't bidding, and you can't look over 999 items right before they close, so why not go right now to the above link and start checking these out? We are certain you will be amazed at the low, low current bid prices!

eMoviePoster.com's current Thursday auction of 494 "special" rolled posters and 505 rolled one-sheets at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/14.html contains a wonderful selection of 74 rare World War I and World War II posters!

But that's not all! It also contains 43 posters from the 1860s to 1911, and these are among the most rare posters there are! Not only that, being that they are all over 100 years old, they are now "antiques" as opposed to collectibles!

But that's not all! The same auctions also contains a wonderful selection of 102 limited edition art prints (including Alamo Drafthouse and Mondo ones), and the second half of the auction contains 505 one-sheets that include many of the best from the past 30 years!

But that's not all! The other 283 "special" posters are posters of every type and year (some related to movies, and some not at all). Here is a chart of ALL the types of items in this most special auction:
3k001-3k102 limited edition art prints including many Alamo Drafthouse, movie, and non-movie
3k103-3k124 World War I war posters, 1940 recruitment posters
3k125-3k174 World War II war posters
3k175-3k188 post-World War II, anti-war posters, political including Russian
3k189-3k231 1860s to 1911 posters: stage play, magic, circus, miscellaneous
3k232-3k254 1930s English stage play British quads, travel posters, six-sheet, three-sheet, oversized stills, museum posters
3k255-3k286 advertising posters, music posters, film festival posters, circus poster
3k287-3k349 special posters
3k350-3k395 non-U.S. commercial posters
3k396-3k432 U.S. commercial posters
3k433-3k494 TV posters, reproduction posters, video posters, mini posters
3k495-3k999 one-sheets

I am posting this a full day before these end because I don't want any of you to "miss" these auctions and afterwards think "if only I had known"! And I KNOW for certain that you will need some extra time to look over this MANY really cool and varied posters (literally covering a 150 year span, from the 1860s to the present day).

And if you are worried that these are "too expensive", just the opposite is true! With a day to go, 420 of these are at $1 or no bid, and 603 are just $1 to $5 (and we have no awful "buyers premiums", so $1 is REALLY $1. So why not visit the above link RIGHT NOW? I promise you that you will love looking these over, even if you are just "window shopping"!

Bring in the New Year right by "stealing" some of our 999 inserts, Belgians and Italian locandinas at auction ending Sunday at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/15.html!

Why are we auctioning solely these sizes? ALL of these posters can be shipped in our smallest tubes (16 inches long), so that means that these will cost far less to ship to European countries than orders that have to ship in 26 inch or 32 inch tubes.

Why are we auctioning them on Sunday, when we usually don't do non-U.S. posters or inserts? It is so that all the European bidders (especially, of course, those of you from Italy and Belgium) WON'T have to wake up "in the middle of the night" to bid on them as they are closing, because they start to end at 3 PM CST, NOT 7 PM CST like our Tuesday and Thursday auctions.

Like incredible deals? As of right now, with two days to go, there are 406 of these at $1 (and 109 have no bid at all, so a single dollar bid might win those) and there are over TWO THIRDS of these at just $1 to $5. And the one third over just $5 (which includes some really nice ones!) are mostly WAY under where the same or similar posters have sold for in the past (and remember that OUR "$1" is really $1, and not "$1, plus $19 buyers premium" found on another auction site).

So why not start looking over these 599 inserts, 200 Italian locandinas and 200 Belgian posters right now, and start finding that perfect poster to display in your home, one that may well cost you less than a cup of coffee at Starbucks, and will surely give you many years of viewing pleasure?

Our very final "Face/Off" ever, Phil or Angie!
« Reply #982 on: December 30, 2016, 07:27:24 PM »
For many years we have had a " Daily Face/Off" on our home page, at http://www.emovieposter.com, and we changed it five times a week! It let visitors vote for one of two choices on all sorts of movie poster related subjects (see an archive of all past ones, with voting results, here: http://www.emovieposter.com/faceoff_archives.php)

But we counted them up, and as of the last work day of 2016 we have run exactly 2016 of these, and that seems as good a time as any to stop doing them!

And for our very final "Face/Off" ever, we are doing something very unfair, which is asking everyone to choose between the two longest term eMoviePoster.com employees, (both of whom are a vital part of the company's success), Angie or Phil!

Go to http://www.emovieposter.com and vote, but remember it is all in fun, and they truly are both "winners" in every sense of the word, regardless of the final vote tally!

We (eMoviePoster.com) hold 2,500 to 4,000 auctions every four weeks.

Very unfair but, I voted Angie if only because I have conversed with her more than Phil.

Both though equally very helpful and quick off the mark.

Cheers to both.

Aside from the synchronicity of numbers, why are you stopping?  Just one less job to do a day?  Or some other reason?

"Just one less job to do a day?" is sadly the answer. 3,000 auctions a week takes a massive amount of time, and every second counts.

Absolute proof that a fine vintage movie poster can be extremely affordable! Our 999 inserts, Belgians and Italian locandinas at auction ending in hours at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/15.html this fine New Year's Day include 228 at $1, HALF at just $1 to $5, and in fact, fewer than 100 of these are over just $30, so they are within the reach of everyone!

And you will even find first release posters from the 1930s and 1940s that are just $10 or so! Plus, no matter how many of these you buy today, the U.S. shipping is just $12, even if you get 100 of them. We charge the actual cost of shipping outside the U.S., and since these all fit in small 16 inch tubes, non-U.S. shipping is far lower than usual!

And because none of these posters are more than 14 inches wide (and they range from 18 inches to 36 inches tall), they fit in lots of places in your home that a larger poster wouldn't! So why not start looking over these 999 posters right now, and start finding that perfect poster to display in your home, one that may well cost you less than a cup of coffee at Starbucks, and will surely give you many years of viewing pleasure?

If you have looked at our current 999 folded one-sheets, you might ask yourself "Why are a QUARTER of them closing in hours at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/13.html still at just $1, and why, oh why are HALF of them just $1 to $4 with hours to go?"

The answer might lie in its taking place right after New Year's and many bidders were traveling, but a far BETTER question to ask yourself is "Why am I not bidding on these super-low priced posters, which include many rarities from all years and genres?"!

Remember that when we say "$1", we really mean "$1" and NOT "$1, plus $19 buyers premium" found on another auction site. At these prices they cost less than wrapping paper (so you could get a bunch of these and use them that way, but to us that would be a sin).

But you could buy a bunch and start a collection, or you could slap them on eBay at $9.99 each and make a bundle, or you could sell them from your website (we can provide buyers with unwatermarked giant images of their purchases, so that is super easy to do with virtually NO work on your part). So why not go to the above link right now and start "stealing" some fun movie posters?

Plus, no matter how many of these you buy today, the U.S. shipping is just $12, even if you get 100 of them (actual cost anywhere else). And using our unique "Pay and Hold" system, you can get all you want over a three week period (six weeks outside the U.S.) and you pay just $12 U.S. shipping for everything as long as it fits in one package safely.

And you can now pay for your purchases entirely within our "Checkout 2.0", which even works with "Pay and Hold" orders, which saves you a fortune on shipping! So why not start looking over these 999 folded one-sheets right now, and start finding that perfect poster to display in your home, one that may well cost you less than a cup of coffee at Starbucks, and will surely give you many years of viewing pleasure?

You can get lots of BIG posters for TINY prices in our excellent selection of 999 large Italian & French posters (including one-panels, two-panels, and larger!) that closes in HOURS at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/14.html

Do you think I might be exaggerating about how low the prices are? There are an inconceivable 387 of them at $1 (101 with no bid at all, so $1 can win those!), and 517 at $1 to $5 each. And a very high percentage of the 482 that are over just $5 each are WAY under where the same or similar posters have sold for in the past (and they include many very rare and desirable posters, ones that are almost never offered for sale or at auction).

And unlike many auctions, there are no tricks or fine print to these auctions, that turn "steals" into not-so-good deals. First and foremost, there are no massive $19 "minimum buyers premiums" (in fact, there are no buyers premiums at all) so "$1" is really $1. And all buyers pay the actual cost of shipping your purchases (plus $3 for packing material), but U.S. buyers can wait a total of three weeks before we send all their purchases from that time in as few packages as possible (and non-U.S. buyers can wait a total of six weeks).

If you have never bought large French or Italian posters in the past, you could NEVER pick a better time to start collecting these, because so many of these posters are offered at such low, low prices with just hours to go. But if you plan on placing several bids, be sure to go to the above link soon, because it takes a while to look over 999 posters, almost all of which have different images from their U.S. counterparts!

And you can now pay for your purchases entirely within our "Checkout 2.0", which even works with "Pay and Hold" orders, which saves you a fortune on shipping! So why not start looking over these right now, and start finding that perfect poster to display in your home, one that may well cost you less than a cup of coffee at Starbucks, and will surely give you many years of viewing pleasure?

We have a truly wonderful selection of 858 vintage single 8" x 10" stills (a great selection covering all years, stars, and genres!) ending in HOURS at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/15.html!

What makes this auction so special? The auction includes hundreds of great stills from movies where you rarely see ANY move paper, including lots of "lost" films, and many with the stamps of top studio photographers on the back! Plus there are many portraits and candids from some of the best remembered movies! IF YOU ARE ANY KIND OF SERIOUS STILL COLLECTOR, YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE A REAL HEADACHE IN DECIDING WHICH STILLS YOU MOST WANT TO BID ON, BECAUSE THERE ARE SO MANY WONDERFUL ONES!

You would THINK that stills as fine as these 999 would be VERY expensive, but actually just the opposite is true with a few hours left until they start to close! There are currently 116 of these great stills at just $1 each, and 320 are at just $1 to $5 dollars each, and the remainder that are over just $5 are mostly FAR under where any dealer would price them!

Now these are true rarities that would look incredible on your wall (and they can be displayed in any inexpensive ready made frame), so please go to the above link soon and check these all out, because one quick look will immediately confirm that I am not exaggerating in what I said above!

Remember that we are the only major auction that is completely honest with our bidders! Not only are our images all unenhanced, our condition descriptions completely honest, and our auctions really start at $1 with no reserve, but also OUR "$1" is really $1, and not "$1, plus $19 buyers premium" found on another auction site.

Plus, no matter how many of these stills you buy from this set of auctions, the U.S. shipping is just EIGHT DOLLARS, even if you get 100 of them (actual cost, plus $3 packing material anywhere else). But it takes quite a while to look over this many fine stills, so why not go to the above link right now and start looking, because there WILL be great buys made, and YOU can't make them if you haven't bid!

The current bid prices on our 999 non-U.S. posters from 32 different countries closing in HOURS at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/13.html are mostly so low that they qualify as being below wholesale!

Not only are they almost all WAY below where the same (or similar) posters have sold for in the past, but they are often many times below what any dealer would ask for the same items (which is why, if there is not a lot more bidding, it will likely mostly be dealers who buy these, to re-sell at a large profit, which is easy to do, because we give any buyer, on request, an unwatermarked image, so they can add them to their site or eBay with no work at all).

Think I am exaggerating about how low the current bid prices are? 378 of these are currently at $1 or have no bid, and over HALF are at $1 to $5!

I am sure you know that non-U.S. posters like these often have great completely different images from the corresponding U.S. one-sheets, and that sometimes they sell for bargain prices. But you can't get those bargains if you aren't bidding, and you can't look over 999 items right before they close, so why not go right now to the above link and start checking these out? We are certain you will be amazed at the low, low current bid prices!

P.S. This set of auctions contains a remarkable find of 146 Argentinean posters from 1926 to 1929 that were recently discovered (see just those at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/tag/xtype%253AArgentinean/13.html). It is likely that prior to this amazing find, there were only a small number of these posters known to exist in the entire world, and after these 146 are auctioned, it is unlikely that there will be many more discovered, even over the coming decades! This is a rare opportunity to purchase an Argentinean poster from the late 1920s, a time when virtually no movie posters from any country are known to exist!

"Everybody" knows that you can't get any "deals" on movie posters anymore! But in fact, "everybody" is wrong, at least when it comes to OUR auctions!

It IS true in many other so-called "$1, No Reserve" auctions, where you quickly learn that there is fine print that puts a MASSIVE minimum $19 buyers premium on all purchases, so that "$1, No Reserve" poster ends up costing you TWENTY DOLLARS (and sometimes there are exorbitant shipping costs as well, so a $1 purchase can end up costing you $35 or much more), and some auctions don’t like to combine purchases, and some even charge surcharges on credit card payments!

But in OUR auctions (at www.eMoviePoster.com), we have NO buyers premiums at all, so a $1 poster is REALLY a $1 poster (and in many of our auctions, you can pay a single shipping charge no matter how many items you purchase from that set of auctions)! But are there really many items that sell for just a few dollars each? Here are the hard cold facts (see the chart).

That means that 63% of the items we auctioned in 2016 sold for under $20! We know that in those auctions with the $19 buyers premiums, they did not sell even ONE item for under $20, because even when an item sells for just $1 in their auctions, the $19 buyers premium brings it to $20, so EVERY item they auction sells for at least $20, plus shipping.

Doesn't it make sense to spend your money where it goes the absolute furthest?

Since auctions first began, EVERY auction has subscribed to a policy of "buyer beware" where buyers have no guarantees of anything and after each auction is over, they are "stuck" with what they bought, no matter how poorly it was described. But at eMoviePoster.com, we alone give a LIFETIME GUARANTEE to our buyers, that every item is an original, and is from the year we said it is from, and if any item later turns out to not be what we said it was, we give a full refund, even if it is years later.  This refusal to "go along" with every other auction has cost us many thousands of dollars over the years (in refunds long after the sale), but it has also gained us many thousands of VERY loyal bidders!

We imagine you like buying posters for next to nothing as much as the next fellow, and if so, you need to know that TWO THIRDS of our 999 rolled one-sheets (including many of the best of the past 30 years!) closing in HOURS at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/14.html are at $1 to $5!

If you like "stealing" posters at giveaway prices, then you will LOVE our current selection, because the current bid prices on many of them (including ones at every price level, up to the very highest priced) are hard to believe! Think I am exaggerating?

With just a few hours left (as of this writing), there are 60 of them with no bid (so $1 can take those), 361 of them at $1 or with no bids and 664 of them at $1 to $5! At these prices they cost less than wrapping paper (so you could get a bunch of these and use them that way, but to us that would be a sin).

You COULD buy a bunch of these and start a collection, or you could slap them on eBay at $9.99 each and make a bundle, or you could sell them from your website (we can provide buyers with unwatermarked giant images of their purchases, so that is super easy to do with virtually NO work on your part). So why not go to the above link right now and start "stealing" some fun movie posters?

There is something that may surprise you about these unfolded one-sheets. They contain MORE from this century (the 2000s!) as they do from the last century, the 1900s (523 of the 999 posters, to be exact). Why not get one or more from a fairly recent movie you like and hang it on your wall or give it as a gift, and it will likely cost you less than a cup of Joe at Starbuck's?

At these prices you can tack or tape them to the wall (just like you did as a teen) and just rip it down when you are ready to replace it). But hurry and start checking these out at the above link, because in just a few hours these will be going, going, GONE!

Our March Major Auction runs from 2/26 to 3/9, and the deadline to consign is February 6th. People have said to me, "Bruce, why do we have to wait until October for great horror items?". I thought about it, and when I couldn't really think of a good answer (because after all, Halloween is really more a state of mind than a time of year). I began actively soliciting excellent horror items for this coming March Major Auction (some of which appear in this ad)!

But of course, while this auction will have lots of great horror items, it will also have great items from ALL genres! So if you have any high quality items you have considered selling, why not consign them to us? Not only get you the highest prices overall (when you compare apples to apples and oranges to oranges) but we also charge the lowest commisssions of ANY major auction (no ifs, ands, buts, or buyers premiums)!

Contact us with what you have today, and soon you could be seeing one of YOUR items in our next ad for this very special auction that is just six weeks away!

eMoviePoster.com has an auction of 499 title lobby cards and 500 scene lobby cards closing on Sunday at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/15.html, a little over a day from now.

You may be thinking, "Why does eMoviePoster.com have lobby cards closing on SUNDAY  when they normally always close on THURSDAYS?" but a more important question is "Why are YOU not bidding on these, when ONE QUARTER of them are at $1 or have no bid (and HALF are at just $1 to $4)?"!

But to answer the question you may have, the reason we have this special Sunday lobby card auction is that we have been consigned so many cards that we needed to hold this "extra" auction to get somewhat caught up on them! This means you have a golden opportunity to get lots and lots of lobbies at low, low, prices, and how often does that happen?

And unlike many auctions, there are no tricks or fine print to these auctions, that turn "steals" into not-so-good deals. First and foremost, there are no massive $19 "minimum buyers premiums" (in fact, there are no buyers premiums at all) so "$1" is really $1.

Plus, no matter how many of these you buy Sunday, the U.S. shipping is just $12, even if you get 100 of them (actual cost anywhere else). And using our unique "Pay and Hold" system, you can get all you want over a three week period (six weeks outside the U.S.) and you pay just $12 U.S. shipping for everything as long as it fits in one package safely.

And you can pay for your purchases entirely within our "Checkout 2.0", which works with "Pay and Hold" orders, which saves you a fortune on shipping!

Are you only interested (or mostly interested) in a specific genre, star, studio, or decade? Don't forget to use our "Search Filters" which are located to the left of our auction galleries. For example, in the case of these lobby card auctions, they include 266 cowboy western cards (including some excellent titles), and you can see just those by clicking on the Search Filter that says "cowboy western", and the same is true for all the other filters, like "crime", "Walt Disney", "John Wayne", "James Bond", or for the 136 lobby cards that are solely from the 1930s, and on and on!

Using these Search Filters well makes your time spent in our galleries FAR more productive, and once you get used to them, you won't know how you ever lived without them (and there is no other auction site that has similar Search Filters that work like ours do!).

So why not start looking over these 499 title lobby cards and 500 scene lobby cards that end Sunday right now (because you will need some extra time to look this many over!), and start finding that perfect lobby card (or cards) to display in your home (and they fit in any store bought 11x14 frame), one that may well cost you less than a cup of coffee at Starbucks, and will surely give you many years of viewing pleasure?

As you all likely know, we auctioned the remarkable Dominique Besson one-sheet collection in our December Major Auction. He recently sent us a kind note of thanks as follows:

"I really wanted to thank all of you at eMoviePoster.com for your wonderful job done with my collection. When I first contacted Bruce in early November, I was not sure he would accept all my conditions, as it was a very large collection, and it was just over a month before the auction needed to begin.

But we were able to quickly reach an agreement, and the only thing I had to do was to ship the collection to Missouri, and I did nothing else! Incidentally, since the auction was first announced, I have received many messages from all over the world asking if I was preparing to retire, but definitely I am not! I just needed some money to buy a new apartment in Paris.

As usual with all eMoviePoster.com auctions, all my posters were described very precisely, and I was very pleased with the results of this auction. We are now one month after it concluded and I already received the full payment. It was really impressive service. Thanks again to all of you at eMoviePoster.com for your great job auctioning my one-sheet collection!"

Thanks so much to Dominique for this great reference! When it came time to consign this large and valuable collection, he knew that we at eMoviePoster.com were the only ones who could do justice to it, and get you the highest prices overall, while charging far and away the lowest commissions of ANY major auction. If any of YOU reading this have reached the point where you want to sell all or part of your collection, know that you too could do no better than to consign it to us (and like Dominique, you won't do the slightest bit of work, other than getting the items safely to us)!

We at eMoviePoster.com have a fantastic selection of 999 French one-panels, pressbooks, Mexican lobby cards, and all sorts of assorted cool and rare items closing in hours at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/13.html.

The only "common denominator" to these items is that they don't fit in our standard sized flat mailers, so they must be shipped in "oversized" flat mailers or boxes, for the actual cost of shipping.

Within this set of auctions you will find LOTS of REALLY rare and special items of every type and size. Some would normally be in other types of auctions (like oddly folded three-sheets and six-sheets) and there are even several one of a kind original pieces of art!

There are so many different kinds that you will want to be sure to go through ALL of them, to make sure you don't miss something of interest to you! This is also a great set of auctions in which to use our "Search Filters" which are located to the left of our auction galleries.

For example, in the case of these "oversized" auctions, they include 52 pressbook (including many rare and excellent titles), and you can see just those by clicking on the Search Filter that says "pressbook", and the same is true for all the other filters, like "Mexican lobby card", "Walt Disney", "French one-panel poster", "James Bond", or for the 66 items that are solely from the 1930s, and on and on!

Using these Search Filters well makes your time spent in our galleries FAR more productive, and once you get used to them, you won't know how you ever lived without them (and there is no other auction site that has similar Search Filters that work like ours do!).

But in spite of all the many great items (and even many of these are currently woefully under-priced) there are also LOTS of items at total "giveaway prices"! There are 156 items with no bid at all (so $1 can take those), 377 items at $1 or with no bid, and a whopping 528 items at $5 or under (and THESE auctions have NO buyers premiums at all or nosebleed shipping).

Ask not where great deals on quality movie posters are, because they are right here, but don't take too long in looking these over, because in a few hours they will be going, going, GONE!

We (eMoviePoster.com) hold 2,500 to 4,000 auctions every four weeks.
We have auctioned more movie paper for more money (in real sales) than any auction in the world.
