You know I've talked to Bruce about this.  He's welcome to come back at any time and he knows it.  Whatever he decides is totally fine with me.  I will never ask someone to stay or someone to come back.  I can only suggest.  I know Bruce misses the forum, but at the end of the day, he has a business to run and many kids to attend. We all have our priorities.  I'm sure he will chime in when he feels like it.

80s re-issue , they didn't use that lettering until 80s.

http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/archiveitem/11590914.html

This is Swiss , Swiss also used a crown logo on their lobbys.

http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/archiveitem/10258138.html

It's "Fists of fury" , not "CC"....prolly 80s re-issue (note "G" logo bottom right)

http://www.emovieposter.com/gallery/inc/archive_image.php?id=13529572

It would help if he listed if it's "Vecchioni & Guadagno" or not , imo this is 1st issue.

Also he should mention what edition on Italian Bruce Lee , almost everything is re-issue :

Big Boss (2sh/4sh?/Rotograph locandina & bustas , R70s Rotopress , R80s Sericolor)
Fist of Fury (Novograph 2sh & 4sh/Rotograph locandina & bustas , R70s Edistampa bustas , R70s Rotopress , R80s Sericolor)
Way of Dragon (? , R70s Rotopress , R80s Sericolor)
Game of Death (Rotopress , R80s Sericolor)

Could not many of those guests be bots? And surely each one does not click on every topic.

Regardless, whether 30 or 130, my point stands.

But the point is still that he should email us those corrections. If he wants to also brag here about how much he knows fine, but it is unfair to expect me to pore over every post, looking for corrections.

I'm sure Tang will email you, the next time he logs onto the forum and sees your post.

And I hardly consider the info he posted to be "bragging" on his part; I think most here would see his post as being very helpful to both you and EMP, in general, with regard to having correct information.

(And if Tang doesnt email EMP any time soon, you could certainly pass the data on to Matt in your office (via cut and paste), who would then do the updates/corrections).

Heck, I would even be happy to send it to Matt if you don't have the time to. Let me know.  :D

I think we all suffer from everyone thinking Bruce has the time to pay attention to all these threads (which is usually at night) and then makes notes so he can then give the information back to his employees the next day to make the corrections.  I am on here every day and still once or month or so search my name to make sure I didn't miss anything and often find something.  I've e-mailed several times about things and whom ever is responding quickly replies that they will look into it... Within a few days I get a reply back and start to see the updates.

I would suggest Tang, that you bombard him with information so that other collectors don't buy stuff thinking it's something it is not...  I think as a hobby we also under appreciate his free database.  Not only will the info be correct for buyers but even when you are buying from eBay or other venues (to make sure everything is correct).

Thanks, Charlie. I understand that some people won't email corrections while an auction is running, if they think they are getting a benefit from the wrong information (like if we were to identify a first release as a re-release). But even if that is the case, all I am asking is that they email the correction after the auction is over, so we can both correct it, and email the winning bidder, offering to cancel and re-list the item with the correct information.

If they ALSO want to come on this or any other forum and announce that they know more than us, fine! But I don't read every thread here or on the other forums, so if we are not emailed, we will likely not discover our error, and as you point out, many tens of thousands of collectors use this completely free and honest database (and unlike others, you don't need to be registered to use it).

As to being "bombarded" with corrections, we ARE! A large part of Matt's day is spent fixed errors we are emailed about, and we keep extensive notes about everything. And often a single correction can have a HUGE "ripple" effect, as when we learn that a specific printer or distributor is only from certain years, and that can lead us to many other corrections, all off of the one that was reported.

Maybe start a thread called something like the "Bruce Hershenson Online Hotline" that way people who may only want to share their talent to posterphiles only in a forum rather than email can do it still in a dedicated thread and Matt checks just that thread?

So has the "return mission statement" from December 2nd, 2015 been thrown out the window? Specifically, as detailed in the second line:

"I DID sign back up. Not to post about my business, but solely to answer questions, or to help with info about subjects I know about."

http://www.allposterforum.com/index.php/topic,10269.msg193665.html#msg193665  GoOn.gif

Seems the impulse to place promo, business posts has been futile. The Advertising Force is much too strong.

And as a gentle reminder on daily Dealer and F/S postings:

BIG NEWS! We now show detailed unenhanced scans of the fronts AND backs of every single lobby card we auction. 'Tis true! We have 999 single lobby cards (half title cards and half scene cards, a wonderful selection) at auction closing Thursday at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/14.html and you can see for yourself how you can see the fronts and backs of every card.

For years we have been the ONLY major auction house that shows our bidders the fronts AND ALSO the backs of every vintage still we auction individually. Why? Because we know that our bidders love that they can see whatever stamps or snipes are on the backs of the stills, but also because seeing the back lets you see any tape or other repairs on the back, and also better helps you judge the overall condition of the still.

NOW, we are doing the same for every vintage lobby card we auction individually! We had been planning on doing this for quite some time, but when we were consigned several GREAT collections of lobby cards, we knew the time had come where we HAD to make this change. But we have to warn you. Once you get used to getting to see the backs of every card, you will find it very hard to deal with auctions that only show you the fronts!

Our amazing auctions of 999 single lobby cards (half title cards and half scene cards, a wonderful selection!) wraps up in hours at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/14.html

If you like great lobby cards at bargain prices, and you like the condition descriptions to be accurate, and you like to see giant unenhanced scans of the fronts AND backs of every card, and you like auctions with no deceptive "buyers premiums", and you like auctions that REALLY all start at one dollar with no reserve, and you like paying the actual cost of shipping or under on all you purchase, and you like your purchases being sent super well wrapped, then THESE are the auctions for you!

But please go to the above link soon, because it takes a while to look over this many fine lobby cards, and in just a few hours they will all be sold, and there WILL be many great buys made on quality lobby cards, and there will likely be some real "steals"!

In 1999 we held our very first Tuesday weekly auction, and our current one (ending Tuesday at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/13.html) is our 779th weekly Tuesday auction!

In 2007 we held our very first Thursday weekly auction, and our current one (ending Thursday at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/14.html) is our 450th weekly Thursday auction!

In 2009 we held our very first Sunday weekly auction, and our current one (ending Sunday at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/15.html) is our 324th weekly Sunday auction!

Will the future hold a FOURTH weekly auction, and if so, on what day? Only time will tell!

STEAL THESE POSTERS! We have 999 rolled (or formerly folded) 27x40 & 27x41 one-sheets (many of the best of the last 30 years!) closing in hours at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/14.html

Want free movie posters? I can't give you that, but I can give you the very closest thing! Think I am exaggerating? With just a few hours left, there are 133 of them with no bid, 531 of them at $1 or with no bids and 698 of them at $1 to $5! Yes over HALF are at $1 or have no bid and 70% are at $5 or less each! At these prices they cost less than wrapping paper (so you could get a bunch of these and use them that way, but to us that would be a sin).

You could start a collection, or you could slap them on eBay at $9.99 each and make a bundle, or you could sell them from your website (we can provide buyers with unwatermarked giant images of their purchases, so that is super easy to do with virtually NO work on your part). So why not go to the above link right now and start "stealing" some fun movie posters?

Bruce, is this just fodder for your post, or are you seriously considering a FOURTH auction ?
