All of this is so incredibly subjective that its pretty amazing that so far we all actually like TSWLM.

Not in my top three but I like and every time I pass by it, I stop and enjoy.

Jeezum crow, that's a tough call.

Awesome... James Band!  They even managed to find a place on the poster for 3P0 and R2!

Bond Completists vs. Star Wars Completists.... FIGHT!

Apparently there will be a new James Bond Movie Posters book to be published next year.

First off, the official movie book publisher Dorling Kindersley will be churning out a trio of titles to satisfy the casual fan. 'The Bond Chronicle' will be a film-by-film history of the series and will also include Bond 23 as it is scheduled for the shelves in November 2012. Just in time for Christmas, too. 'Fifty Years of Bond Film Posters' will celebrate the marketing of the movies and will hopefully be an improvement on the uninspired 'James Bond Movie Posters' by Tony Nourmand released back in 2002. Rounding out DK's releases for 2012 will be 'Bond on Set', a photography-centric account of the making of Bond 23.

Does anyone have a handle on who is actually doing the compiling?

I've also ping-ed a mail to DK - told them that the Tony Nourmand precursor to their product requires bettering.

Would they like any images and facts, I asked.

We'll see.

Just come off the phone to one of the guys from MI6, where you linked to.
It's a rehash of the previous book, mate.

I'll let you know more when I find out myself.
Best wishes,
Adam

Ok - sounds just great then.

A perpetuation of the incorrect and the myth ...

I hope it gets properly looked at.

I think the best Bond poster book to date is Nixdorf's; only problem is that it is in German.
You can decipher it enough to understand though.

It's also very hard to get hold of - if you haven't got one Simes, get one!
I think the the last time I seen one for sale it was £50.

The hardback version is even more rare!
Best wishes,
Adam

I think you guys should contact the publisher and set the record straight.
With the combined knowledge of you Bond experts, they have a chance to produce something special.
My two cents....
 cheers

She (Amy Winehouse) isn't going to be launching anything now.  She passed away today.  I never saw that one coming.

Not surprising but still sad. I obviously never personally found her attractive but she did have much talent and 27 is FAR too young.

R.I.P.

That is an awful shame.
Only 27 and found dead in her London apartment.
While I wasn't a fan, I did like her song, "Back to Black."
Here is the music video.  I usually prefer live performances, but in her BBC Sessions video, she seems under the influence...RIP Amy...

Picked up this rare, cool, and funny Casino Royale Advance Style B one sheet for way less than I expected to pay.  So what is the Advance Style A?  No one seems to know.

Haven't done much recently, but got an update coming soon at the end of the month on the Bond website.
Some interesting posters to add - should be good.

Cool.  Were theater owners meant to 'X' out days until the release?  Is that a studio poster?

I've had this for a while, Simes.
People approach me from all corners with gear.

I think that was the idea, mate.
I'm sure it was an actual cinema poster, but I can't imagine there are many of them still around, especially not rolled.
It may have been used in certain cinemas, or maybe just one - really not sure!
Either way, it's bloody rare!  :o
Best wishes,
Adam
