I had about 300 movie soundtrack LPs in the mid 80s.  Trashed them all.  Every single one of them.  I certainly regret it now.

nice looking selection of 7"s!
im not sure the music would be to my terrible taste though :)

i have a bunch of LP OSTs but only perhaps 1 or 2 7"s??? im not really sure as my records are in storage at the mo, and theres about 10K of them.
records just take up too much stinking room and weigh a ton if you need to move them all  :'(
i am currently trying to whittle them down.
i dont think i have any special OSTs though?
I don't know much, but i do know what my eyes are telling me!

While up in my loft today, I thought I would bring down a few soundtrack Records.

For you young fellows, this is how we listened to music, etc in the days of Yore....

Now you must excuse the amount of Bruce Lee records, but I had studied the Arts from
being 9, and was a huge fan of Bruce when his films came out, so....

Stew, keep a look out for that Close encounters LP.

This was a must for all fans of Horror....

and two of my fav's from being a kid...

Phew, how does Ari list so much in one go.....

I was going to ask if anyone collected OSTs on Vinyl...I started collecting a short while ago, so don't have much yet, but I'm enjoying it. I started because the sleeve designs can be great; it's sort of a natural branch of poster collecting in a way...or maybe I just have some sort of bad habit.

I have soundtracks on my mac but i sold the cd's.
I am listening to Scott Pilgrim V's The World S/T at the moment though.

Like the Superman picture disc. I used to have the Miami Vice theme, picture disc.
Probably do still someplace.

I'm not sure how this thread has alluded me, I'll have to dig up a list of what I have BUT a late Christmas gift just arrived & I am beyond stoked http://www.filmscoremonthly.com/cds/detail.cfm/CDID/447/Cleopatra-Jones-Cleopatra-Jones-and-the-Casino-of-Gold/ I just ran the entire 2 discs (2 hrs 15 min) of pure bliss. I'm not sure if this is OK to say but do folks around here trade OOP sound tracks?

Like the goblin stuff, they played recently in Australia, one gig, and a second where Suspiria was screened and they played the soundtrack live in front of it. My friend recorded it, very good stuff.

That screening must've been a trip.

Yeah, I was very sad it didn't happen anywhere else except Melbourne.
A least I can hear it, but to see it would have been amazing.
Obviously the music was extended, compared to the film soundtrack.
A number of friends went to both nights.

yeah i saw goblin a couple of years ago and they were surprisingly good!
i thought they would just be tired.
i guess i should also add i was heavily under the influence of a large cocktail of drugs.
it still sounded goo though :)

Some of the vinyl covers poster are quite something. I would go as far as saying that some are more beautiful than the movie poster. Great stuff.

Agree!  I really love the artwork for High Society which I can't recall seeing anywhere else...
