hey well just thought i should say hello, im actually looking forward to chatting to some people that know and are willing to share said info about posters

being as i got stuck on another board that people were quite tight lipped .
anyhooo just plain hi

but when it comes to movie posters you would be hard pressed to find a more knowledgeable and info friendly crowd.

i dont know a whole lot about movie posters but i do know what i like to look at.
have a few posters but not trillions.
dont collect any one thing in particular just what i like the look of.
but it is mostly explotation i go for. and ridiculous images or badly rendered art.
what can i say............ haha

err but i havent really got many pictures of what i have?
guess i should take some.
the only other poster that is up there is this

a french medium for a movie called why do they do it?

i did buy a bunch of quads in the 80s some of which i love. but stopped buying them when i moved in with my wife. luckily for me she's hit the dust (alas no she isnt dead)
i will get round to taking some pics of those but they are not that special really.

yeah i am really none to fond on the 1 sheet art for flesh & blood show.
love house of whipcord though. i have bid on the one sheet a few times last year but just got pipped to the post.
have a couple for house of mortal sin though.
have to say im not a fan of the movies though, a little ploddy for my trashy taste. even though i had the majority of his movies on VHS back in the day.

House of Whipcord, followed by Frightmare, have a soft spot for Die Screaming Marianne also. I always wanted to get in touch with him, last I heard he was a graphic artist for an ad agency or something. he really had a style all of his own.

ummm not "exactly" a school for. but there is definitely a pecking order and its a skill you need to be tought.
it honestly isnt my bag, but i seem to know a couple of girls who have gone into this. i cant see why not, it pays REALLY well for what amounts to VERY little work from what i can tell?
