I won a poster the other week and the seller is located in the UK.  I paid immediately.  Three days later I messaged the seller asking about precautions with packaging.  No response.  So a week after the auction ends (Sunday) I messaged again to confirm things were in order.  No response.  Today I see that the my item is marked as shipped.  I should mention that the seller has a good amount of positive feedback (600+ with 100% positive) and has previously auctioned posters.  I am interested in your thoughts on this matter.

Cross your fingers because it's too late (it's already shipped).  And there was no guarantee the seller was ever going to heed your wishes anyways...

If it's destroyed when it arrives that will suck but just seek a refund.  Usually sellers that sell several posters have some concept of how to package safely.

If he doesn't reply to you by the time you receive it maybe leave him a neutral. Shipping it ok but not answering you is not good customer service. Maybe that will wake him up.

I wouldn't worry about it yet, considering the seller has a good rating.
That doesn't excuse him from ignoring communications. That's a no-no.
Tip: I always include my shipping instructions/preferences at checkout (the latest).
If the seller has little experience shipping posters, I usually raise packaging concerns before I bid.
So, what'd you buy? A rolled FRIDAY THE 13TH quad?

Thanks guys.  Hopefully the poster will arrive in a reasonable amount of time undamaged.  Actually Ted, it is a folded quad for Near Dark.

Be afraid...be very afraid....  wynk

Great poster and I'll bet it arrives in fine shape.
Seller has a 600 positive.
I wouldn't worry.

A very cool poster, for sure. They should have left off the white "From the Producers of" text in the upper right, tho. It is distracting and takes way from the imagery, IMO. But leave it to Hollywood politics and producers to demand that it be placed right there.  Sad

CJ, did your copy arrive safe and sound?

It did! Thanks for the follow up.  I am currently trying to save my pennies and load up on frames!
