I peruse the NS4 site every once in a while and can't quite figure out why some go through the trouble of reposting the same stuff...  Is NS4 an Australian based forum?  Doesn't it get old posting things in two places (or even more if there are other forums I am unaware of)...  Just a random thought that has been bugging me...

What do you mean exactly Charlie?

There are quite a few members of NS4 who never visit this forum and vice versa.

I recommend anyone or everyone new to this do some searching on NS4. Never know what you might learn about some "trusted" dealers.

There is a wealth of information and there are some pretty entertaining threads to be enjoyed.

Indeed!  Research is your friend.  Ignorance is not a valid excuse.

NS4 is great.  Lots of great info buried in that site.

Now the real question is: Why is MPF still around?  Surely, I can't imagine any of the so-called sponsors spending a penny on that site.  So why is it still running?  Wasn't Peanut all about the money, which ultimately is why Holiday and I started this shingle??

I have only been on NS4 to once or twice. I am not registered or anything.  This is the only forum I regularly check and am registered on.  I am just lazy. I check here, emovie, movieposterbid and ebay.

I was checking my phone down stairs and it looks like folks may have taken this the wrong way...  I think NS4 is a great resource.  Just wondered what drives some members of both forums to post in two spots; the same thing.  I keep imagining folks with both APF and NS4 open and executing the ol' "CTRL+C" then "CTRL+V"...  I am just trying to understand.  I could see posting authentication or collecting questions so to get different opinions on things.  But the threads seem to line up as well as posts in most areas...  Like January 2012, Excalibur Death.  Of course Bruce, Rich and HA are going to post in different forums...

Probably should have left it alone.  I guess what I would like to know is "What benefit do you guys realize?" for those who repost (and APF could as easily be the repost)....

Like Chris said: "There are quite a few members of NS4 who never visit this forum and vice versa."
That's why I posted my lobby card sale there same as here.
I also posted the Nicol Williamson death here after seeing his obit there...but I did use a different source for the obit.
That, I consider 'newsworthy.'
Phil, Simon, Richard and many others are a wealth of knowledge.  They are just a few of the many that make NS4 great.

So refrieds...

there are many refired threads on all these forums..
lenticular posts, R.I.P. posts, Ebay bashing posts, Heritage bashing posts, Bruce chest thump posts but one thing that seems never to have been refried on the other forums are Carson Cockman bashing posts.
I vote we refry Carson Cockring on other forums just for fairness because I think everyone wants to know about Carson Cocklick posts..

Bruce chest thump posts

I got a good chuckle out of this.  How true, but it hard to blame the guy - Machiavelli FTW...

nah I don't.. he's good at self promotion. sometimes it's even good comedy.
I prefer to not have to beat my chest. If I'm good, you'll figure it out on your own. But I don't have 25 employees taking my workload off leaving me time to write weekly club messages and daily posts
