Ok folks... lets hear your horror stories about sellers who committed the full range of non-disclosure no-nos. Anything from omitting minor damage (fold separation, pin holes, etc...) to more serious issues (tears, stains, edge damage, etc...) to full on fraud.
I'll kick it off with a entry from the last category... I won an auction for a poster that was framed. The seller had told me it was linen backed, but he wasn't positive and that it may still be foldable. He wanted to just send it framed, but after a few emails back and forth I convinced them to send it without the frame. I sent a nice email with packaging tips on how to send it rolled if it was mounted to linen, or folded if not. So far so good. Well, when it was finally delivered, I got a huge flat package. Oh well, I figured they must have sent it framed... but it was very light... too light. I turns out the damn thing was dry mounted! It took me 3+ months to finally get a refund through eBay/PayPal after the seller stopped responding to my emails.
By the way, this topic was inspired by another poster faux pas, overly generous grading. Check out this
R56 Citizen Kane I came across on eBay today. It is rated as a
C8-EX, but apparently the only thing stopping it from being rated higher was due to the "thin paper"

Oh yes, and the opening bid is $1000. Sorry to those of you who might have been planning to pounce on this "rarest of all time" poster. I'm sure by drawing attention to it in this thread the price will now skyrocket!
