I've never purchased, but they did respond to my question when asked.

Finally got a response and his listing was wrong as I suspected. Using stock photos should be a no no! Seemed like a nice guy though.

DO you think he sells originals or repos/fakes?

Difficult to tell without a specific example. As I say, the poster I was after was listed with a stock image which turned out to be different to the poster he had for sale. Ok it was a small difference, but I don't want to buy the same poster twice.

Okay, I have purchased a poster from this seller.
But, I don't know if its original or reprint.

It is hard to find and this seller is the only one that I know that has the poster.
Its on glossy paper, but the poster measures 27x39.

How else can I tell for sure if its original or not, or if it was one that was sold at one of those conventions?
I don't really want to post the title as many won't even know of the movie.

Big Mike, to determine its authenticity, or lack thereof, much more information is needed...

If this is the case, I doubt it would be a reproduction...

How obscure is the movie?  Now I am intrigued.  Come on, what is the title?

Yeah, I doubt there was ever a theatrical release for this one.  As mentioned, even if it was theatrically released typically lesser known titles are not worth reprinting/bootlegging.  It could be a comicon promo, but it seems large.  Most of the promo stuff I have seen at conventions are like flyer/postcard size.

Occasionally, Comic Con releases full-size promos, THE SPIRIT being one example.
I'm betting it is some sort of international DVD release poster.

I don't see any reason to doubt it's authenticity.
You might want to contact palisadestartan.com and ask them how this poster was used.

I think you've got a cool piece of rare paper.  Probably not many of them around.
