Some new daybills for me.
For non-Australians, No. 96 was a controversial TV series (sex and nudity) from the early 70s, successful enough to justify a cinema movie!

"Breakfast At Tiffany's" (1951 SSR) (2001rr UK quad), a much appreciated lagniappe from Mark Lawd:

"Exit Through The Gift Shop" (2010 DSR) (UK quad advance), presumably exceptionally rare, thanks to a tip from Ian:

"The Thing" (2011 DSR UK quad), no question the quad format wins this round!

Very cool one sheet for Melancholia (2011 DSR US 1S):

Back to the Future (1986 DSR) (2011rr UK 1S):

Mel, glad you managed to get one of the Exit quads, seems like you got a good haul on your London trip. Shame I didn't manage to meet up with you, Chrimbo seemed to rush up on me and it all got a bit frantic!

I can't be sure it is from the first release...  The seller even covered his ass and said it is probably a 70s RR but he wasn't sure.  This style seems to always be listed as a 70s RR.  I'm not sure how to even tell....  Makes me wonder if there is one from 65/66 with different art that hasn't popped up...

Funny this one got passed over.  Guess the GBU distracted us.  I think this poster is going on my list (prolly US 1S) it is just iconic.  You could place any girl with heart shaped glasses and a lollipop and wham right back to when you first saw the film...  I think with this and the GBU you should rest a while an let some others have some fun...  Wink

I have this film's US One-Sheet hanging up in my office at work right now.  I love the yellow.  I missed this one too.  GBU FTW I guess...

Ok, there appears to be two versions of this poster.  The first has text only on the right side.  The second has text on both sides.
Bruce has sold them both as 70s RR...

Interesting.  Did you know that a TV show/film must obtain permission before allowing any copyrighted (ex. poster or book) or trademarked material (ex. Apple computer) to be shown?  That's why you rarely see anything recognizable in the background.

It was a Thierry hates "French Grande" that was later repleaced by a Jailhouse Rock Thierry hates "French Grande", probably because it was less saucy...

In House MD, the Wilson character has had a number of notable posters on display in his office.  For a long time there was a Vertigo and a Third Man one sheet, but they have mixed it up of late

Unless it has already been done this could make a great thread in itself with links to posters appearing in film'TV shows. Here is a screen grab from the '25th Hour' that showed a 'Cool Hand Luke' in Norton's apartment;
