Straw Dogs remake

So I just found out they are remaking Straw Dogs.........Straw Dogs, really? Huh?

It stars.........

James Marsden
Kate Bosworth
James Woods
Alexander Skarsgard
Dominic Purcell

slated for a Feb 2011 release.

Nothing is sacred anymore. I about lost it when I heard Rififi was being remade with Al Pacino. He was great in the day, but he has all the subtly of a MACK TRUCK these days!

I have a feeling that this is going to be a depressing thread...

Hells bells, I remember when they did a made-for-TV remake of Casablanca with David Soul in the Bogart role. If Hollywood thinks it can make money, it'll remake anything. Can't wait to see how the story will be "updated" for modern audiences Tongue

I admit I USED to get upset at news (like this) but then I realised, "I JUST DONT WATCH IT" or if I do, and it sucks, well, big deal, it doesnt hurt, just switch it off.
re STRAW DOGS, I wouldn't watch the original again anyways.
