Hot stuff David!  Did you find a sheet of plexi big enough to cover it or is it open to the elements?  I'd love to hear more about the framing.

Yes it's a one-sheet plexi, non reflective etc, they had to order it in to size (from the manufacturers in Queensland I believe). I didn't bother getting a mat due to the large white border on the actual poster what else would you like to know?

And no cleaners, just us.

Did the plexi arrived rolled or was it thicker? What are the UV details?

Just wondering if it is the same material as the one Robert sends out with his Spotlight frames.

Definitely not rolled - I'll have to look up all the specs and come back to you...

Did you buy the frame and assemble yourself?  That is how I framed my italian 4-foglio. The framers wanted $1500+. I did it for about $350 with a nice wood frame.

I can DIY as good as most, but I would not have tried to do this...got a framer who was recommended by our local restorer, good enough for me.

Educational maybe to those that need some educatin' in the first place.

And once again... this wont help the sprinters, trigger fingers or Quick Draw Mcgraws.

That requires other measures and not just a video screen grab.  qip

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/qq6_NRFF-wk" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/qq6_NRFF-wk</a>

Produced to promote Bollywood film Boss, it is now on its way to the Indian city of Mumbai in a specially-built crate. When it arrives it will be put up in the city before moving on to Delhi.

Made by Abbotsley-based company Macro Art, the World's Largest Poster was printed onto a PVC mesh in several strips 5m wide.

It took a whole weekend to print and a day to put together, before a team of 30 helped roll it out at the airfield, The Cambridge News reported.

Macro Art's Project manager, Ben Seward, said: "A highly skilled and dedicated team of staff have once again been able to bring everything together on time to realise our customers' dream of having a new World Record."

The film is a comedy caper directed by Anthony D'Souza and also stars Mithun Chakraborty, Danny Denzongpa, Aditi Rao Hydari and Parikshit Sahni in pivotal roles. The movie is slated to release on Oct 16.

Posted this in the war poster section as well but it fits in both.

In honor of the 100th anniversary of the start of WWI and a salute to all our veterans before and after.

WWI Who Leads Our National Army three sheet printed somewhere around 1917 I believe.
