I've been lurking here for a while. I'm a film buff and very small time collector.
I have maybe 50 or so posters and I've been buying and selling for 10 years. (Not for the intent of profiteering)
Many I just buy to see them in them flesh and then sell at a lost... sure sign of poster addiction  Grin

now and have signed up because

a) I have spare paper to shift
b) And I d like to share photos of posters on my walls when they're done.
c) contribute when I can

I'll post what I have to shift in the for sale forum

thank you

Hola Chupito

50 posters is a sizeable collection. We love checking out peoples walls.

Nice posters up for sale, you must have some great posters you are hanging on to. What do you hold your posters down with to photograph them - beer cans?

 welcome to APF, Chupito.
I just might have to bid on a few of those posters...
Very nice.
I look forward to see what's on your walls and in your collection!

Yes beer cans (which i did clean before using). I went to the hard store to try and find some heavy bolts but no luck.
Couldn't think of anything else.. any suggestions?

Framing is going to take a few months because I keep changing my mind about the juxtaposition and I'm waiting for some to be linen backed in the states.

Good to see that you joined in on the fun, Chupito.  As others said, always cool to see humans' collections, and hopefully your linen backed pieces will turn out well.  If you have any questions about framing, I'm sure someone can help you, although it sounds like you have it all figured out, except the "juxtaposition."  thumbup

What to use to hold down posters for photographing varies.  I just use XBOX 360 game cases, some use paper weights that are glass, drinking glasses, or a board with magnets, whatever works best for you.

I'm not sure if there is a specific topic or thread for it, but I just outlined my framing process in another thread if that helps any.
