How much does paper loss affect value?

Just wondering how much paper loss affects value.
I am missing a bit off the border.

I would say it depends on the title especially in regard to rarity.

If that border issue is on an original Vertigo OS, you won't see a drastic decrease in value.

If that border issue is on a Dark Knight Rises OS, then its pretty much worthless and destined to be college dorm wall fodder.

But if you put that same Dark Knight Rises in a drawer and forget it for 20 years, it will again be worth near full value because all the kids who hung them on their dorm walls will have money and want them back.
