So the new posters rolled in today and if the movie if half as good as the posters, it should be great.  Anybody hearing good things about the movie itself?  Here's the new trailer.

I was supposed to get these posters from my buddy that works at the theater, but I guess he didn't come through to me this time Sad

I am desperately looking for a Steven Spielberg signed letter (especially with Schindler's List content). If you have one I will make you an offer you can't refuse.

There's also an advance B2 with the whole scene.

Is the B2 artwork exactly the same as the B0?

I haven't seen the B0 so I don't know that answer.

The B2 is an advance with the release date if I remember correctly.

The aspect ratio will be exactly the same on the two pieces of paper so I figure it will be the same or very close.  But again, I speculate here.

Yeah, if we could combine our brains, we'd know.  Like Mr. Linder, I would assume they are based on the aspect ratio.  It is the same scene as the triptych except in a roughly 2:3 aspect ratio

Just bought tickets for an early IMAX 3D show here in Houston tomorrow.

Some other notes re: AIW:

  • Does anyone actually OWN the B0 yet??
  • We are going on the first weekend because I can't wait to see the 3D IMAX trailer for, yes, Tron Legacy
  • I was upset the other day when I went to the theater because they had messed up the order of the triptych posters.  My wife just gave me the "get a life" look.... such is my mania.

I haven't seen the B0 but Schan's "..........and the race is on" Skyjackers quote is tearing me apart... el oh el

I haven't seen the B0 but there is a US banner (30 x 60) that is just starting to make the rounds with the full scene on it which I'd actually take over the B0 .

OK, is it the actual b0 that gets you going, or the thought of being the first kiddy on the block with the shiny new toy to show off?

Personally, both!

That's really funny, I didn't even realise that was a poke at me! I guess I find it even more amusing as I already had 3 different B2 versions of this poster before any of this was posted. I think I may have had quite a good head start on this particular race.

Saw AIW today (at Edwards Marq*E) on IMAX 3D.

I won't spoil it for anyone though.  There are review sites to serve that purpose.

Alice is officially the 6th movie of all time to cross the $1 billion barrier.
