Dale.. it all depends on what thickness (gauge) the tubes are
I use uline tubes and I've only had a couple get dented in shipping in the past 3 years.
Yazoo Mills tubes are very expensive to get out here because they ship from the midwest, plus they're more expensive anyway (like 3x Uline)

I will admit though that for the rolled posters we just shipped, we put the Tubes inside a USPS triangle tube for extra security because as we know, if you just bang the tube without denting it, it send ripples into rolled posters, and I wanted to prevent that

I've had good luck using the uline tubes but only because I take two of the same size tubes and cut a line stright down one of them then stuff it over the other one. If I can stand on it after that (i'm 215lbs) it gets shipped. Just make sure to heavliy tape both ends.
