To all of you Blade Runner fanboys, here's some exciting news...  Ridley Scott will be back with a new version.

The good news is, it won't have anything to do with Blade Runner. No characters will be featured and it's an entirely different story with entirely different themes that's simply set in the same universe. Like Prometheus. If Prometheus is good, we can get our hopes up for Blade Runner, which will very likely not be called Blade Runner.

Agreed, let's see how Prometheus turns out. If that stinks, begin panicking.

I can't help thinking Blade Runner should be left alone, in a similar way to ET. We don't need more.

And if the story and characters are unrelated to the original, don't reference Blade Runner. We have enough copycat wannabe movies that already fit that bill.

I'm a bit worried.
I thought ROBIN HOOD saw Scott slipping into mediocrity.
I guess we can only hope for the best.

Especially with the original Nottingham script he began with. What a heartbreaking story of a white-washed movie.
