50th anniversary......Germans saw it early '65 , prolly due to being partly financed by them.

Very cool Yugoslavian poster there, Tang...

Looks nicely backed, too.  thumbsup.gif

Quite the selection there, Roland. Looking good. And you have a nice layout there, too.

I am trying hard to build up my Westerns, it’s odd that for a genre that is uniquely and authentically American it no longer has the cultural presence it once did. Although I suppose you could make the same argument for the decline in WW II films for us Brits. Maybe the stories have just been told too often. Anyway, let’s start my magnificent 7 with The Duke tenderizing his favorite leading lady’s saddle…

Maureen must have been a bad girl. But i'm sure she enjoyed the spanking, by Sir Duke.  ;D

This is sort a Western/Horror/Crime poster for the film, "The Evictors" 1979.

Edit:
I uploaded a picture but it's not showing up.

Hmmm, looks like the thread got deleted or moved. Not sure how to find it as can't remember what I was linking to specifically. Maybe the mids should find it or make a new thread and make it a stickie. Thanks. I guess I'll need to delete the link in my signature.

Seems I spoke too soon, Steve.
That was actually my 2nd Western poster.
This one came first.

Now, one of these days I gotta decide on which style 100 Rifles poster to add to my fledgling lady gunfighter collection.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Crossposting. Two of my good friends took me today to the Booth Western Art Museum in Cartersville, Georgia.  Along with incredible Western art by Charles Russell, Frederic Remington, Tom Lovell, Robert McGinnis, and Thomas Hart Benton, there were also several really nice Western movie posters. Here I am pictured with a very close friend of mine in front of the 24 sheet for The Glorious Trail (1928); Custer's Last Fight 6 sht (1912); Paradise Canyon 6 sht (1935); and, Arizona Sweepstakes banner (1926).  Okie

Hi Jeff, That is my very good buddy, Richard Garrison, with me in these photos. I finally got to go to the Booth Western Art Museum with Richard and it was everything he told me and more!   Okie
