Mr. Holland's Opus

This has been one of my favorite films for a long time. I grew up with music and from the 6th grade onward was always in the band and had an amazing music teacher that' I've been meaning to get back in touch with for quite some time.

This movie always hits close to home because of my experience, but even with that aside it's just a damn good movie. It was just on TV again tonight so I thought I'd see if anyone else has seen it before.

Just a great film about a great character's journey through life.

I come from a family of teachers and principals, and I too love this movie!

The girl with the beautiful singing voice oddly never did much more, which surprised me.

Yeah that part was weird. I did however really enjoy her part, and seeing her in general  on Yes Dear. That show was hilarious.
